As much as I adore Ed, Roy is definitely the best State Alchemist. Not only does he know flame alchemy (which decimated Lust, destroyed the Cyclops army in single snap, and almost killed Envy), but he also doesn't have the admirable-but-naive "Thou shalt not kill" philosophy that Ed has. He's been through war, he knows it's Hell, but he also knows that sometimes it's necessary. He's also more experienced, of course. |
