| i was actually waiting for a ournament to happen sooner or later. i dont like fighting(and i can't anyway) but if was a shonen hero i would love them, lol but about the chart, it looks kinda messed up, some ppl have to fight more than others, i think lerio only gets to fight twice to win. |

| Why do I see so many complains about the tournament?? These are the best parts of these shounens xD Again, a huge resemblance to Naruto, at the end of the exam, a tournament where the best face off each other. Nice going there Kishimoto. |

I love tournaments. Part of why I love DB so much, they cleanly integrated 3 major ones; all significantly longer than this. And yeah, as someone who watched Naruto first; the amount of things Kishimoto copied is startling. Inspiration is one thing, and completely fine. HxH was clearly inspired by the likes of DB, and shares very general things with it. But Naruto copied very specific things. Red eyes that are the target of theft. Exams to test aptitude for a certain role. Stealing other people's stuff in a forest deathmatch, where at most half can proceed. Fight between winners of said deathmatch. I mean, come on now. |

| Huh, a fighting tournament. This could be the best part of this arc tbh and I already know how many episodes are left for this. I doubt that only one of them will finish the exam though. |
| Gon really needed to take that out, the only one that wouldn’t be there without help is Leorio, honestly, Kurapika and Killua are skilled enough to get far. With the interviews, we quickly recognize the relations that grew or existed before the exam, Hisoka and Illumi, Gon’s group, is was funny how Hisoka fooled the curious. Killua is cute trying to hide that Gon is his friend. So, the ones that doesn’t excel in fighting are Leorio and the bow guy, I think, but it all depends in the matchups. |
