As the Title implies, I would like to know if it's necessary to watch IE for IEG. I looked up the new animes that will be broadcasted this season and happenened to come across IEG2. It looks pretty cool, so I decided to watch it but then I realized it has a prequel with 127eps xD For what I can tell it looks totally different but WHAT DO I KNOW xD I appreciate every answer =) |

I wouldn't say necessary, but a few characters from the first series play an important role in GO. If you really want to understand everything, it'd be best to watch the original series (which is the best anyways) ![]() |

Yeah, it isn't 100% necessary, but you won't understand all the references to the previous characters. I'd highly recommend watching the first series anyway, it's better than InaGO ;) |

I'd reccomend "Inazuma Eleven" first for sure to catch up with the full story (this because some previous characters from the series also appear in "GO!" and a bunch of them have an important role in the sequel) ;) And about "Inazuma Eleven GO!": it might not be up to the awesomeness that was and still is its prequel, but it's great and it's worth watching as well, as long as you see it after IE to understand what is going on - and I'd say watch out for GO!'s next season/phase (the Chrono Stone one) after you see the two series ;) Modified by LAboy456, 04-14-12, 10:33 AM |
