| Started because I wanted to see more anime directed by Shinichiro Watanabe's since I love Cowboy Bebop. I love jazz, and I usually don't like quiet/misanthropic characters but Kaoru actually warmed up to me as this episode progressed. When Ri called him by his first name I giggled. And characters (and men in general) like Sentarou I have a gravitational pull/fatal attraction towards. So the cast seems pretty lovable, I just can't wait to see how the plot develops. :) |

| I've been looking for an anime to fill the hole left by the completion of Nodame Cantabile. I think I have found that anime. The animation is great, the music is great, the characters are great (so far). Man...can this get any better? I'm only 1 episode in! |

| Nice pacing. I really like all the characters and the music was really good. I can't wait to see more. Kaoru is pretty cute :3 His sister blaming him for playing the piano in the morning made me pretty angry o.o |

| Oh god. This is the Slice of Life anime I've been search for my whole life. I instantly recognised all the records in the record store. watching this was just pure bliss. The pacing is just like the swing of jazz itself. |

| wasn't really feeling the op, but after giving it a second listen i love it. almost as much as i love the first episode. setarou grabbing kaoru's hand and saying he has been waiting for him. <333 |

| Decent start so far, the MC however did had me worried at first because of his edgy line at the beginning of the episode "i hate all of this" lol. I just hope we don't go into that "love triangle" bullshit territory. Great OP by the way! |

| 1st time rewatching, read the manga right before this. Amazing stuff. KimRyo and Hosoyan really fit into their characters. I love it. |

| Captivating! As I picked the show up with no prior knowledge regarding the setting or premise, I was completely amazed. The atmosphere of the show, an amalgamation of the 1960s setting and jazz music, is superb, further complemented by the dynamic protagonist duo (or trio). The quality of animation doesn't disappoint either. I'm definitely looking forward to (binge) watching the following episodes. The (background) music is enchanting, nothing less from Yoko Kanno. |
| Damn great first episode, chemistry between Sentaro and Kaoru (Richie) is already fun to look at. Loved Sentaro when he was chasing Kaoru in the hallway :D Also, loving the jazzy vibe with the background music and overall feel of the show. |

| Damn, I'm not into jazz at all but I loved his drumming. Bon and Sentarou have best friend quality written all over their face. That ending with Bon's walking was great lol, he is starting to like jazz. |

| It's alright so far. Can't really tell how good it's gonna be from just that episode though. Loved the part where the guy played a bit of Clair De Lune :) Then I remembered this is gonna be a Jazz anime lol. |

| This episode was good. So Kaoru moved around a lot and never really learned how to make friends huh. Well I feel this time will be different. I love how this episode had a bittersweet feeling and started off with Kaoru climbing up the slope to his new school. A beautiful metaphore if you ask me. The episode also reminded me of Shouwa Genroku Rakugo Shinjuu, especially when Sentarou called Kaoru 'Bon' :P The animation is also top notch. Wow, seeing Sentarou jamming those drums is amazing. Can't wait to see them playing jazz together. Sentarou seems intimidating but he was able to open up Kaoru's heart to jazz. Ritsuko is a nice addition as well, I am wondering how the story about the three of them will unfold! |

| This is disappointing for a Watanabe series. None of the characters are interesting so far. Sentaro is such a bully, I want to punch him in the face, Kaoru is too passive, and Ritsuko is like the token nice girl. Hopefully, it'll get better since his characters tend to be well-developed but it's nothing special so far. |

| Morning day and starting all fresh. Damn Kaoru being gossiped in the first day of school oof. The wooden stick playing was really interesting and damn Kaoru getting embarrassed in front of others feels really sad to watch. Not gonna lie Sentarou seems like a great ikemen to me who protects any four eyes (By no means it's an insult) but he sure does have care and charm in his trait. Poor Kaoru gotta pay the bill, we all know anything can't be free when the person does this and that all for you but man really stole the key xD Bruh Sentarou is so dumb he threw the last umbrella Kaoru was holding away and now both of them are all wet :V Oh now I know that Sentarou is making all that jazz beat, that aside, Kaoru playing the the classical piano is some talent out there, hope he's preserving to becoming a pianist one day because it's good to keep up with your passion and also, he's hot with/without them glasses, who gives a care about anyone's appearance 🥰 Ngl I really thought Kaoru's sister was an adult until her voice sounds like a teenager to me.. Anyways Aunt better watch your mouth and not hurt Kaoru. Honestly, I love how bright of a classmate Ritsuko is and her relationship with Kaoru is very adorable, also the guy seems to be playing a game to do something with Kaoru :0 Holy Sentarou really just came out of nowhere and it almost scared me xD Damn Sentarou is really jazzin his talent with those drums, woah the CGI on Sentarou and Kaoru's hand looks really realistic to how anyone plays the piano :o. The piece "Moanin" actually was played a lot in the cafe I usually go out with my friends so this anime is some peak fiction. Lol Sentarou finally brought his umbrella at the end xD |

| It will be about Jazz music this anime, ok. It will be interesting. I liked the first chapter, I had planned to watch it and taking advantage of the fact that it is on HBO Max I will watch it. Very good, the opening and ending are good. |
