THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE.
----------------------------------------
So in this episode we learn that gabu is not good at climbing, we also get some flashbacks to mei and gabu's meetin, we are also introduced to mii, mii didn't get much screentime in the movie so I'm looking forward to learning more about her and the other goats. I liked this episode and I'm looking forward to the next episode.

Well, the second episode is an improvement over the first, fleshing out a little more of the story compared to the movie. Still not impressed with Mei being a girl (and of course that's not going to change in the series); it seems kind of cheap to change Mei's gender merely to appeal to a larger audience, but such is commercialism. I'm also kind of annoyed that they plagarised Mei's ears from the movie and stuck them on Mii instead.

If there wasn't already an english dub to this, I'd be sorely tempted to redo Mei in a male voice and edit the video to colour adjust him back to more masculine colours, but I just don't have the time for it.
