| Best show this season so far, such an awesome episode! Love the opening (Mami Kawada was a surprise for this show) and had moments of comedy, awesome animation, action and was just overall fantastic. Can't wait to see more. |

| I'm a bit confused as well. What was the point of the container? Why was that guy in the suit all worried about the military getting the container? bleh.. Hopefully, the later episodes will explain since this is just the first episode. |

Yumekichi already answered that, that guy doesn't want his country to have military strength on par with other countries'. If they did it might cause a war but Koko doesn't care. Amazing, we have the new Black Lagoon (the manga continues soon) here, I really missed this kind of show. I love how they started the episode with oriental music (it was, wasn't it?), I like the music in general here, great OP, the ED lacks something for me though. There is not a single character of Koko's team I don't like, did you see the guys with their hunting face, awesome! I also like how silly Koko can be, looking for the toilet while sleepwalking, I already understand why the guy said it is fun to work for her. She still can kick ass, driving the car while Jonah kills their pursuers, keeping a cold head despite getting her head smacked. I love Koko, her pale sking, her long hair, wearing a skirt and her face, her blue eyes and her grin already fascinated me. Also seems she has something for Jonah, I like their relationship and I wonder if she had a younger brother that died. I had a feeling this might be great but now I'm sure, this is going to be memorable. Now I really want to read the manga. |

| If anyone says this isn't a Black Lagoon remake, they are lying. My only problem is that I wouldn't have casted Itou Shizuka as the main. | I thought some parts of the animation seems stagnant and awkward. But the action scenes are nice. I thought Koko's voice could be a little deeper. Seems like i can't match it with her character. Haven't read the manga, couldn't sink in to the anime yet. But i think it's not bad a start. |

| The characters look dull and boring, exept Koko and Jonah. Still something's really wrong with the character designs, their faces look so dumb imo. Guns are cool, but the first ep didn't really get me fired up. Still gonna watch it a little longer, it could get better. I think Koko's voice suits her really well. |
| So far not bad. Chara designs, as many noticed, are sub-par though. Skimmed through manga and apart from censorship, it's a pretty faithful adaptation. |

| Hmm I thought the character designs looked fine. I always had a thing for skilled killers who look like mellow sad looking everyday people. And like many others pointed out, Itou Shizuka is a bit too cheery to fit with Koko's style of character, or maybe it's just because I've been playing too much Majikoi. |

| The details into the cars and the few weapons we saw was pretty good but that was pretty much the only thing i found good about this episode. It just seemed a bit to predictable and they where trying to hard maybe next week will be better. Also i find it ironic for a arms dealer to drive a Citroen C4 |

| Highly unimpressive first episode, especially with this kind of concept. Looks more like a mildly dark comedy shonen for now than a true seinen. The characters are extremely cliché and the direction not that good (by School Days' Motonaga though). Iguess I'll try to watch the second ep but I'd rather rewatch Gunslinger Girl or Black Lagoon. |

| This was amazing. The character designs are realistic, not ideal eye candies, what is a bonus for me and Koko rules. It's funny how childish her name sounds, yet she's someone no one would want to piss off. I love how she can do crazy stuff that could be considered lame (sleep walking half naked looking for toilet) and yet be so totally epic when necessary. She was hilarious and her and Jonah make a rather interesting team. Actually, Jonah is interesting on his own as well. I hope we'll hear more of his story later. The rest seem to have each some kind of a story behind them and I can't wait to hear them. Very good introduction episode. We found out a lot about Koko and her nature/style/goals and about her relationship with her bodyguards. The ending meal scene was hilarious just as the preview song. XD hat totally got me. I REALLY like the easy-going yet deep and dark story telling this has. I look forward to next episode. 5/5 for this one. |

No idea why they would be rampaging in a city just like that. Is this focused on a time of war? What's hard to understand? The company Koko works for sold fighters to the air force of some country, and the government wants to stop their delivery because it would threaten war with the country's neighbors. |
| Koko hardly remind me of Haruka from Amagami. Really from the first ep. her personality looks quite same so I'm satisfied with seiyuu choice. They made some static in dialog scenes but the action was perfect. I'm satisfied. Would be a good replacement for Black Lagoon. |

| HER NAME IS KOKO, SHE IS LOCO, I SAID OH NO! So random. Loco = crazy. XDXD That opening English + autotune sounded terrible. :( But I enjoyed the episode. Jonah is great and Koko is great! Color is dull though. No eye candy, so show will be based on story + action. Ending was nice. |

| I Lol'd at the next episode preview song. Episode was good, didn't really understand what was going on though. I felt it went by really quickly without really explaining what it was about, but maybe I was just distracted by all the explosions and gun fights to notice the plot. Meh It seems like it'll be interesting enough so I'll keep watching. |

Also, arms dealers competing over selling upgrades for the country's air force was plenty of story for an episode designed to show the protagonist's first mission with Koko. I like how people just looking for pure action can enjoy this as it doesn't force the story down your throat, yet if you look hard enough you can see an intensely detailed story. People stuck in the middle (like looking for more than action but not observant enough to notice the story) might suffer a bit from this, but I like it. Read my post again. Do you know what means "at least close"? You guys have problems with accepting someone's opinion if it is different than yours. Deal with it. |
| Koko song during the ending moments only added icing to the cake of this fabulous episode lol. Jonah is really cool as well as Koko surprisingly. Love the action and intensity of it all. The OP is really nice as well as the actual anime OST. So glad Funimation got it now release it on disc! |
