Character design: http://myanimelist.net/people/15229/Nakamura_Kazuhisa has very strong points from series such as: http://myanimelist.net/anime/6594/Katanagatari http://myanimelist.net/anime/3594/Tears_to_Tiara http://myanimelist.net/anime/9253/Steins;Gate so this is all very nice to point out. As serious shit intermingles with serious art. I wish there was some staff from Black Lagoon I did not see it but I am informed enough to feel some vibes from that series in this series. For now I will leave it at as that with a delicious fan service tone from: http://myanimelist.net/anime/5682/Phantom:_Requiem_for_the_Phantom as it makes me feel there are some tones of depth that Phantom had. |

| Good way to start the series,Koko is awesome i love her personality a lot and she is loco...O NO!! The OP is awesome and the ending also good,the OST this episode was outstanding and the animation is good. Johan is badass when he start shooting from nowere was epic and he has a good side by it looks like that smile and chuckle to the bunny was kinda cute also he sucks at cooking....great!! The team has pretty much everything,crazy killers,a lesbian,a old man,a glasses guy and all of them been bunch of badasses what better team you can ask for! The story seems will get better and there be guns guns and guns,cant wait for more! Also "HER NAME IS KOKO, SHE IS LOCO, I SAID "OH NO!" THE BEST OF THE EPISODE SOOOO HILARIOUS!! |

| Great production value, but nothing really amazed me. However, that's what I thought at the beginning of Whitefox's Steins;Gate adaptation, and that certainly delivered later on. |

| strong black lagoon vibes. this has potential to be a good mindless action series, i'm interested to see how things will go in the next episode. the only thing that bothers me is the character designs, koko's features are really masculine and jonah's "red eyes" are really outdated and cheesy, and every other extra character looks typical. 3/5 |

| Dat baller OST. I wasn't expecting much coming in but it seems like a mix of Requiem for the Phantom and Black Lagoon. Might be one of the better shows this season. |

| wow.. just finished re-watching Saki.. and now I get to hear Itou, Shizuka's voice again :).. woo Hinagiku and Hisa... glad the anime is following the manga, but man the scenery / lighting gives off a dark vibe, looking forward to the rest of the episodes, but I as well am kind of worried of koko's voice, but I'll get used to it soon enuf, and I think it'll sound right later on. |

| Oh man this episode was awesome. Didn't expect it to be this good. Jonah is one badass and he's only a young teenager? Man he's one skilful shooter, I mean that headshot was awesome. Animation is the top-knotch so far, WhiteFox please don't fail. :D Koko is one cute and deadly women. Her eyes and long white hair, dayum. Quite intimidating :P Loved her sleep walks and her tantrums lmao. Jonah and Koko, awesome pair. The other characters are awesome too. That lesbian woman with the eye patch is pretty funny. Koko's voice is fine to me, actually think it suits her. Omfg the OP is so good, fucking love it. ED's very calm. :) Loved this episode. 5/5 Looking forward to more episodes. :D |

| it's been ages since i've seen a show like this reminds me of how much i miss black lagoon :C! good music and chars seem like they could be pretty badass first thing i noticed is how they were all smirking in the Op like bosses lol not a single Fuck was given by Jonah this whole time count me in i just hope they run into other arms dealers that have their own set a badasses |

| Best show this season so far, such an awesome episode! Love the opening (Mami Kawada was a surprise for this show) and had moments of comedy, awesome animation, action and was just overall fantastic. Can't wait to see more. |

Yumekichi already answered that, that guy doesn't want his country to have military strength on par with other countries'. If they did it might cause a war but Koko doesn't care. Amazing, we have the new Black Lagoon (the manga continues soon) here, I really missed this kind of show. I love how they started the episode with oriental music (it was, wasn't it?), I like the music in general here, great OP, the ED lacks something for me though. There is not a single character of Koko's team I don't like, did you see the guys with their hunting face, awesome! I also like how silly Koko can be, looking for the toilet while sleepwalking, I already understand why the guy said it is fun to work for her. She still can kick ass, driving the car while Jonah kills their pursuers, keeping a cold head despite getting her head smacked. I love Koko, her pale sking, her long hair, wearing a skirt and her face, her blue eyes and her grin already fascinated me. Also seems she has something for Jonah, I like their relationship and I wonder if she had a younger brother that died. I had a feeling this might be great but now I'm sure, this is going to be memorable. Now I really want to read the manga. |
