| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Well it started and I must say obviously way better than it's cheap predecessor. Character have more details to them and interaction not to mention expressions. That being said Nyarlko is essentially the version of Cthulhu in MOE form. Think of Satan being cute. Not a bad thing but not too crazy about it. Nyarlko's fan service was nice but it won't go beyond the Blank point since Cthuko is shown naked in the spoiler That being said the origins of Nyarlko in the monster form is what really are the people of Nyarlko. It looks like the concept of stopping an invasion are applied in this series again. So in conclusion, I will just follow this for comedy. Nothing more, as I don't see myself be fond of Nyarlko nor any fan service of her and company considering it's like liking grandma when you know it's a werewolf ready to eat you despite it looking MOE/nice. Obviously way better than it's predecessors. Mod Edit: Fixed title. |

| Nyaruko is the happy go lucky type who's really into Earth/Japan culture. She's also a Pokemon master as well as she summoned one of her many pets. Hey, as long as Nyaruko stays in her cute form, she can take as many advances towards me as she wants. Mahiro needs to man up (Geez another one of these). |

| Love this. Her character is an instant win for me. Cute and funny. Well maybe I should say very funny. Caught myself smirking multiple times during this ep : ) Hopefully the inclusion of the rest of the cast adds to the show in a positive way. Looking forward to the next installment! |

| Feels like the more lighthearted version of saya no uta. Although there seems to be light nods here and there about Saya, like extreme gore and a certain mythos form. Main guy is very unlikable, just a little too douchey and abusive. All I can say is, lovecraftian monsters are so kawaiiiiiiiiii~. |

| As an obsessive fan of the Cthulhu Mythos, i am pretty disappointed, even though i knew what to expect. It started out with some kid about to be taken by a Byakhee and i thought, "this looks like it will be pretty great." Then Nyarlathotep cames and ruins that feeling. I didn't mind a moe crawling chaos when i heard the show; i actually looked forward to it(and i'm not opposed to moe things), but this is just too much. She is so annoying for a generic moe, her love comes from absolutely nowhere, and then the subplot about some "intergalactic protection agency" is utter bullshit. Not to mention the main male character is once again very hateable. I mean, they could have at least made it a bit more serious. She's hindered by a damned fork yet she butchers and eats Byakhees... I do like the pokemon reference and pornography obsession, though. I don't know. It's just my bias talking, but i really wanted this to be better than it was, and i can see that a lot of people are enjoying it. I'll try to as well - not that i was planning to drop the series anyway as i like to finish what i start. I know it's meant to be a parody, but i hope it picks up from what i watched to be at least somewhat similar outside of names. |

| Nyarlathotep?! really o.O but now I want loli version of Azathoth :DD Shub-Niggurath I choose you ;P but thanks to this series I have few ideas for next RPG session XD and it will be glorious (or they will try to kill me) so overall this series is dumb/insane but in a very entertaining way - also the characters, I like interactions between them (plus those hints of what Nyarlko is really like) it's awesome :D |

But what is my love of the Lovecraftian horror has been absolutely crushed! I bet i would have loved this otherwise ;_; |

| Feels like Yondemasu Yo Azazel-san met Seto no Hanayome and they had a bastard child. A very cute, playful and funny one at that. Seriously, I barely even wanted to watch this one but it turned out amazing. The animation and direction are top-notch and the humour is spot on mostly. Will watch the rest with great pleasure. |

| Oh, Nyarko-chan - as if the flash episodes and your deadly-but-adorable and bubbly personality didn't completely sold me, the Pokemon reference did. Nice work, girl! And on that subject, what type of Pokemon would Nyarko-chan train, I wonder? Probably the Dragon-type and dragon-esque Pokemon like Charizard and Aerodactyl. Seem like those types would suit her. But seriously this episode was a lot of fun. Nyarko-chan has a very infectious and fun-loving personality. Even when she got vicious when fighing those monsters, she still looked and acted adorable. Looking forward to more. |

| This made me laugh really hard. Nyarlko is like the most hyperactive character I've seen in a while and I like her long strain and how it moves. This should be a very fun series. Oh, and I didn't even recognize Kitamura Eri at first. Shame on me. |
| Good episode,so Nyarl!! Nyarlko probably the most hyperactive character in a while not only she is extremely cute also its funny!! The episode itself had some reference but specially love the Pokemon one really make me LOL She fighting the demons had charm even there she is cute!! The fansevice wasnt bad specially at the end...one pervert monster she is...i love it!! And i am sold!! Cant wait for more and the appearance of the other lovecraft monsters specially Cthuko!! | I usualy don't like this type of girls, but she get me with references, I just can't dislike someone that chanelling Morgan Freeman, realy not. Main lead is also ok, there isn't much characters that are capable of snarking in midst of battle. Not whiny at all and capable not let himself drag into Nyarlko pace (which are both quite rare traits). And he has fork! |
