Another novel? I'm a little interested in it, looking forward to see their "goshujin-sama" relationship. dtshyk said: Kanda Sorata is a second year high school art student who was recently kick out of the school's dorm because he was found to keep a cat in his room Yay, maybe he will tell that girl to put on nekomimi :D Kawaii. |

phoenixalia said: um I dunno? maybe treating a girl as a pet? and I'm a girl? So you are like an anime character? Lol. You dislike Inu x Boku too :D Seems interesting, i like hilarious comedies, i'm in. :) Acchi said: EDIT: i just read the replies at ANN, i don't know what to say man, if i get anymore involved with them then i'll get a permanent headache. and lol@phoenixalia's comment there, crazy shizle. Ann community people are a bunch of retards, they take anime so serious that they have completely lost the difference between fiction and reality, Ann writers are the same retards. How is possible they dislike a good show like Nazo no Kanojo X and label it a moe show? This is beyond any logic, but well even stupid people like them has the right to live on the interweb, just don't take them seriously because hopefully they are nonfactors and wont affect the whole anime industry production lol. Excited! Only read the first volume but I like it. Also, read spoilers on some forum that said that at least up to volume 5.5 , it's NOT a harem. With regards to the characters, Of the 7(I don't know the last 1), 3 girls, 3 guys and 1 female teacher Also,I'm a girl. Modified by Soshinra, 04-09-12, 2:38 AM ![]() ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ |

RyanSaotome said: Its funny how different the demographics are of MAL and ANN. In the ANN topic for this anime, its all about how sexist this show is and people wihning about it... but here people are nearly all looking forward to it. Gotta say I prefer this community. That's because the synopsis dtshyk wrote is much blander in detail. |

phoenixalia said: um I dunno? maybe treating a girl as a pet? and I'm a girl? Eh, the chance of this actually being a master/slave relationship in any particularly demeaning way is very low. You're more likely to see something like that in hentai. Odds are the guy is at least as timid as the girl, or moreso. at a blind guess I'm putting my money on "sweet romantic comedy". Could be there's something more sinister to it, but I'd be very very surprised. RyanSaotome said: Its funny how different the demographics are of MAL and ANN. This community has more than its fair share of trolls and haters, but anything is better than ANN. Reading ANN threads is the quickest path to brain damage. BUY YUYUSHIKI BDS ALL DAY EVERY DAY |

That's not to say it can't be taken too far, but the fictional (and purely drawn at that, without even human actors to increase realism) nature of the medium makes it very easy for me to separate what I enjoy on screen from what I'd find acceptable in reality. Reminds me of Rin from Katawa Shoujo. Concerning the rest of the show we'll see how it turns out, I suppose. ![]() The release of atomic energy has not created a new problem. It has merely made more urgent the necessity of solving an existing one. - Albert Einstein |

So it's time for this one as well to get an adaptation. I will be looking forward to see how it turns out on screen. |

Well, this is the most misogynistic bit of anime/manga whatever I've seen today, meeting my daily dose of otaku bs for the day. Hah, seriously. You'd think anyone who has been an anime fan for any length of time would have learned that judging a show by the most negative possible reading of a very brief synopsis is the quickest way to look stupid when the show turns out to be nothing like that. Of course most people who do this aren't presenting an honest evaluation of the shows anyway - it's just fishing for flames by playing the anti-otaku card. Same old same old. Although people who do post comments like that do look stupid anyway, and i'm saying this in a non-offensive way. even if the anime did turn out to be something like that, no big deal, it's anime, it's fiction, no one's getting hurt, you know? Let them be man, let them be. You can't just reply to every comment of those. Sir, I take quite offense to your saying it in a non-offensive way! But kidding aside, the concept of the anime is pretty disturbing to me, but who knows it might just be something good, though my expectations are pretty low especially how blatant the anime is describing it's premise. "Master and pet," I'm going to lose it if he puts a leash on her LOL "The R1 Anime business is a cruel and shallow financial trench, a long plastic hallway where thieves and pimps run free, and good men die like dogs. But trashing a show for what it is, while still often annoying, is still not as bad as trashing a show before it airs for something it likely won't even turn out to be. Eccentric characters are worth giving a try. Will probably take a look at this when it's airing. Check out our new Simul Watch CLUB and join if you're interested in watching stuff together with other people online to discuss about it in a more private and detailed matter than the episode discussion subforums can provide. Also the Custom Tags Club, if you like to customize your tags and don't want to wait until the MAL feature is fixed. If Death Note is "chess", LotGH is "3D Chess." - lisnoire Code Geass would be Rock-Paper-Scissors in this analogy. Guilty Crown? xthedestroyer said: Go Fish! |

"Master and pet," I'm going to lose it if he puts a leash on her LOL Oh please, i've seen worse. have you ever been into shoujo manga? Dude, i can't count how many times i came across those "Sadistic guy masochist girl"/"Guy saves girl and makes her his slave" SHOUJO mangas, you know what that says, right? But anyway, there are alot of disturbing things in the otaku media, and for me, this is certainly not one of them. Not really, but I've read stuff like a comedy series where a cross dresser treats a lesbian like total crap, does that count??? And honestly, anime in general never really had a good track record of having an anime being above it's premise, it'll usually be what it advertised or worse, so my weary as hell over so and so glasses usually never come off. EDIT: Let me quote that better, anime I've experience watching leads me to believe that anime in general never had a good track record of having an anime being above it's premise, it'll usually be what it advertised or worse, so my weary as hell over so and so glasses usually never come off. Doesn't seem like a lot to ask. though my expectations are pretty low especially how blatant the anime is describing it's premise. "Master and pet," I'm going to lose it if he puts a leash on her LOL Master and pet can mean a lot of things, and the power dynamic is not necessarily going to be an oppressive or demeaning one. Like I said, I expect a cute romance, nothing more. BUY YUYUSHIKI BDS ALL DAY EVERY DAY |

This and that are two different things (lolmariaholiclol), and you said it yourself, "comedy series". But doesn't that make it worse since it is a comedy? Especially when a lot of the insult come off a bit hateful in a way.
