Well, hearing that Fate/Zero S2 had started. Rushed onto the computer and watch it ASAP. But one of my main interests was to watch the OP and ED.

Seeing how amazingly badass the first OP and ED was for Fate/Zero. I watched these... it was mellow/tragic...

But watching the video, of course there would be obviously spoilers.
But can anyone make out the reason or representation of the characters in the OP/ED.

But of course, we cant answer questions absolutely since the 1st Episode of Fate/Zero S2 has just been shown. But to make a presumption and any other questions about the OP and ED aswell.

Few questions I have...

1.) In the previous OP, all the servants were vivid and bursting out. But now they're facing back against along with some of their masters. Any potential meaning?
2.) What is Kiritsugu drowning (?) in?
3.) Who is riding the motorbike?


From what I can tell, *Possible SPOILERS*


1.) There will be a couple or more episodes on Kiritsugu's Life Story
2.) From the OP and ED, this season may be heavily focused (content wise) on Kiritsugu, Irisviel and their relationship
3.) From Fate/Zero S1 and the OP and ED, Kiritsugu seems to be a Pragmatic yet Guilt-Ridden chap.

You realise this is an adaptation, right?

You want this thread just as speculation for people who are only watching the Anime or do you want Novel readers to just tell you the answers to your questions?

I'm aware it's an adaptation and what's probably gonna happen next.
And since the fate/zero novel with English isnt the easiest thing to get your hands on, id prefer a speculation for the anime viewers. But with the question's I've asked, I wouldn't mind answers for them actually... :P

I also think that is going to happen ....
Especially when it's so focused about them in the ending.
Drawing attention to it

Both the Op/Ed are really amazing. The Ed looks like it'll fit the second half perfectly.

S2 will dealt more into Kiritsugu-Irisviel relationship, which is what the ED eludes.

Come back after the series is almost over and see which one has bigger impact.

Well actually the ED scenes is based on the Drama CD in the blu-ray boxset which about their nine years before the Holy Grail, and the picture of Kiritsugu holding Irisviel is where he saved Irisviel from a test she had to endure from the Einzbern head. So actually all the ED scenes is in the past.

The ED is actually a visual depiction of the scenes from the Drama CD that came with the first Blu-ray box, about how Kiritsugu and Irisviel first met. It's not spoiler material.

I've read the f/z novels,so...

I freaking love Iri so the ED almost made me cry... The OP is great, but the OP of the S1 its better.

And the floating Iri hugging kiritsugu like a ghost in the OP and the black liquid in her tells me that she`s probably going to die :C

About Iri, you just need to remember Illya and role in F/SN. So, it should've been obvious from thebeginning that will happen to Iri.
