How long would that take? Won't they be sorta "typecasted"? Seriously don't mind that SHAFT gets to animate all the -monogatari novels but hopefully they will do some other non-monogatari shows.

Seriously don't mind that SHAFT gets to animate all the -monogatari novels but hopefully they will do some other non-monogatari shows.

Well they did work on Madoka while making Nisemonogatari, and I still think they are. With the Madoka movies and Kizu coming out.

IMO this would make SHAFT more successful. With all these (AWWYEAhW) monogatari series they will animate along with the animation of other anime, they would probably need and recruit more employees for their company. With more employees, more fans, and more anime, they will have more money, their company will be biggie. Pretty smart move there, SHAFT.

It never had a firm release date, but they had hoped to release it in 2012 and later said it wouldn't be until 2013, so I guess that's technically a delay (or a more refined release estimate, if your glass is half full).
