THIS IS A MANGA ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS ANYTHING BEYOND THIS CHAPTER. ---------------------------------------- Heartbreaking chapter. Ended beautifully, though. My heart aches for Reiko. It's painful just imagining Reiko brushing every painful thing off with a smile. And come to think of it, really, I've never seen Reiko without that smile. Poor Reiko, I wonder how many times before this has she tried to connect with someone to have her efforts denied. :( And also, those matches she has with youkai to win their names appear to be a guise just to know their names. At least partly. :'( And oh! Reiko mentions a man. Could this be Natsume's grandfather? Glad to see more things revealed about her. And Natsume... Once again, he's just the loveliest person ever. Wonderful arc. |

And I've been thinking that maybe she collected those names on paper because she didn't want to forget them, she wanted to treasure them since she had no people to be with. So maybe Reiko didn't know that she could, like, call their names? Of course if she said that she'll use their name to call them, I think that has happened, then this theory makes no sense XD But it could be the reason why she never called them, no? Anyways, I'm really glad that we are getting to know more about Reiko. I hope that we get more than just these hints ;) |
