I find this type of anime really easy to enjoy. A few interesting eccentric characters, in an interesting setting and some decent action. Probably not one of the top animes this season, but deffinetly entertaining.  |

NOT a spoiler. Did anyone notice the salute to Hitchiker's Guide to the Gallaxy? The answer is 42! I thought that was awesome. (Btw, it was the plane wheel question) |

@sisgood no point in aruging over a stereotype =/ I think its been proven before that nothing we say or do will change the way Japaense percieve certain countries or cultures. If they want to portray Indian as always wearing a turban and coming out of sand and American as blonde hair asshole, theres not much we can do about it. It just makes him more identifiable. Let's please stay in context. @ sisgood: Yeah, don't worry, I'm pretty sure no-one in this thread thinks that most Americans are like that. ^^;; Let's assume that none of us also think that all Scandinavian chicks are loco, or that all British people are out of their depth, and move on whenever a character who happens to be a non-Japanese race turns up. Stereotype-A popular belief about specific types of individuals I only brought up the example, because it was relevant to the topic. Also the whole point was just to mention how pointless it is to argue about them. They are used in just about every type of media(for example in American T.V japanese are often depicted as buiisnessmen on the other end of a conference call), not just anime and theres not much we can really do about it.
