I still can't believe Medaka is voiced by Aki Toyosaki. The fact that Medaka sounded so different from the usual characters Aki voiced like Kazari Uiharu, Yui Hirasawa, Keena Soga and Chitose Ikeda means she's either getting better at voice acting, or she simply never had the chance to use her voice acting skills on a different type of character.

Never really imagined someone like her would be voicing a Tall, Dark and Bishoujo type of character like Medaka. I admit that I wasn't originally going to watch this, but the seemingly odd VA choice for the main character really intrigued me, and so I gave in.

For some reason, this show just seems bad. Like the pacing was just off the entire episode. I'll give it one more episode, but so far I am not impressed.

And, what's with all the people complaining about ecchi? There was hardly any!
One scene in her pantsu, and a flashback of the same scene? I've seen 80's mecha that was more ecchi than this!

I didn't expect it to be so Shounen and GAR!

Did they AT ANY POINT even say what this anime is about?

Honestly, this was a VERY DISAPPOINTING pilot....it was all over the place and it didn't do it's job.


I believe the first episode to any show should be able to grab the viewer and give a good amount of information and reason as to why you should keep watching.

This anime did not.

However, since I don't have anything better to do, I'll give it a few more episodes.

I am cool with it cause I am AB but negative which really AB and O can give only to me for blood transfusion.

awesome start hopefully they follow the anime just like the manga!

I didn't find this to be very entertaining. I hope the following episodes will be better.

I didnt read the manga, but the anime feels kinda boring...

This anime had a good start and great first impression! I love how one of those third year's looks EXACTLY like Kamina from Gurren Lagann! A male tsundere is something I've never seen before and honestly I think its more adorable than any female tsundere! Medaka is insane, but in the good way. The shota beats every loli in a adorableness contest! Overall this is pure win. I'm looking forward to watching the rest of the season and the second season when it airs.
