According to Kadokawa, an unaired episode of Kore wa Zombie Desu ka? of the Dead was announced to be released on October 30th. It's designated as the 11th episode and will be bundled with the sixth volume of the manga.

The second series is ten episodes long and started today. The episode 0 of the series will be released as an OVA on April 25th.

According to Neowing, a short OVA of Queen's Blade: Rebellion will be included in each of the six Blu-rays and DVDs. The title of the first episode is "Exposure above the Limit!? Training! Sacred Pose of Annelotte".

Its kinda weird they're releasing episode 0 after the series already begins... I'm kinda conflicted about waiting till Episode 0 comes out to start the series.

Its still 12 if you count the OVA in April and the OVA in October, at least!

They're both manga-bundled OADs though right? Which while fine, are almost guaranteed to be one-off episodes. I doubt they'll do anything to directly extend the storyline, for which the TV series now only has 10 episodes to start back up, progress, and come to a conclusion or stopping point.

Maybe "Episode 0" will do something of interest (besides fanservice, which is justification enough, but in a different way) but they can't make it all that important given that the TV series has to mostly stand on its own, at the very least for the first few episodes before the OAD is out.

One of those characters actually looks like KOS-MOS from Xenosaga.

Well, technically it IS 12 if you count the 2 OVAs into the mix.

Still disappointed that it's only 10 episodes, though. What the hell are you guys thinking?!?!?!?!

It's October 20, not 30 - see http://www.kadokawa.co.jp/shop/sp/image/sp_196/196_01.jpg

I can make up for the lack of zombies and masou shoujo with Sankarea.

Though more episodes/OVA's are always welcomed.
