Deep down within the Umbrella base down under tones of Earth and behind tones of Steel, Locked within a Room, where three fragments that each sat in three vacuum tight Cylinders, they had been found not to long ago by a umbrella team, who had found one of the old umbrella bases that were from the time of infection, it was destroyed everything decaying and rusted broken and beyond repair, however these three fragments where found deep within the old ruined base.

They quickly discovered that the Fragments where from the times when the Infection was at its greatest and Humankind was on the brink of Extinction, however that was all they had discovered so far they couldn’t get anything else from the scans and other readings and the only thing they could pick up what a life force signal that the fragments gave off, sometimes they would bloom with heat, other times the equipment would pick up a heat beat like sound coming from them, however this was in constant flux and no pattern of reading could be taken because as quickly as these signs appeared they vanished.

Today was the day they had Choose to try and open or take samples from the fragments they didn’t want to destroy or break them, however they had now hit a dead end and now had no other choice, but to try other methods of gaining information from them.

Jake Cartwright had been Chosen to carry out the test and he would be in charge of the new tests, it would have been Ryan Genesis however he had Declined the offer saying the Jake was the one who should do it seen as, he was the one who found them in the first place, not only that but, Ryan had to be at the Umbrella Expo for the Opening, of their month long expo, so he couldn’t be there to carry out the experiments himself, However he would be watching what would be going on after he was done opening the Expo and the Green Queen would be there to assist Jake in anything he need.

Jake was Standing In front of the Room, they had selected, he was in the Viewing Camber of the room and the room in which the fragment now had been placed in, they had placed it far away from the other fragments. The fragment they had selected now sat on a table held in place by a powerful clamp they didn’t want to crack it however it seemed that the fragment wasn’t as fragile as it seemed.

Jake: “Is everything ready?...” He asks the air before him, no one else was in the room or so it seemed.

A Voice replied back to him “Yes everything is prepared you may begin when ready.”

Jake turned and walked over to the entrance of the room he put on a Hazard Suit and walked into the sterilization Camber, after a few minutes and the camber completing what it needed to do Jake was let into the Room with the Fragment and although nothing bad seemed to happen while near the Fragment without a Hazard suit it never hurt to be too careful.

“I am beginning with the diamond tipped saw…” Jake spoke almost giddily.

Jake picked up the medium sized Saw and start it up, it start to spinning making a whirling noise, until it became a Buzzing Sound and the Blade almost looked like it wasn’t spinning at all, he slowly lowered it to the Fragment however what happened next Shocked everyone watching……

The Saw Touched the Fragment and Snapped, the blade flew off and hit the wall bouncing back cutting through Jakes Hazard suit and cutting his Left arm deeply Blood Flew everywhere and all over the fragment, However this was not what Shocked everyone…… it was what happened next….

The fragment glowed a deep menacing dark jade-green, it resonated with the other fragments, causing them to glow as well; the single fragment released a powerful pulse of energy , ripping itself from the grip of the clamp; the young researcher Jake was sent sliding backwards four meters away from the fragment that levitated off the table with an ominous aura pouring from it; the spilt blood lifted from the floor and table was pulled towards the fragment, swirling around it as cracks had formed to welcome the warm blood into the darkness.


A large eye opened inside the fragment and a black smoke -like mass oozed from inside, rising to the ceiling before descending downwards to the floor, hovering just inches from it. The ''thing'' that rested inside the fragment, imprisoned for so many years began to take form; eyes blacker than the darkest black aroused by the scent of blood carried within the center of them gray circles housing inside horizontal ''slits'' similar to that of a snakes eyes. The large body had a number of unique yellow, jade green and black patterns all over its serpentine-dragon like body; it sensed Jake in the room and stared intensely with its powerful eyes, as if staring into the very man's soul.





The being released a powerful sudden roar that pushed the young man's body and hair backwards, it clearly was taunting him while tempting him into trying any means to escape from it but all the while knowing that the moment he moved, if a single molecule in his body even much twitched it would be all over; an incomprehensible tension built in the room, nothing moved not even the air as the two figures where frozen still in suspense, waiting for the other to make a movement. *

But the shard wasn't done yet, it glowed a deep, dark violet as shadows seem to be sucked into it. More cracks form on its surface and the color of the shard changes into the darkest black a person would ever see. Then it leaks. Drip. Drip. Drip. Some black liquid drips out of it until it becomes a torrential fall and from it emerges a human-like figure.

Kurona, the Dark


The figure of a woman in a military-like uniform dips her hand into the shadow and draws from it a massive sword. Just the presence of which created an oppressive atmosphere. Every fiber in the scientists being screams that if death had form, this would be it. She gazes at him; he cowers before her and the Obscurinados. Her expression changes from resentment to mild amusement to a smirk. The smirk and gaze had a sickening look to them, like she was gazing through him, having determined his life to be worthless.

The Room Sealed in a instant Large Steel Blast doors crashed down upon the only exit and entrance to the room the Door was thick and there was a Loud crash, this happened before anything else did the room was sealed before the blood even touched the fragment.

Cameras Watched everything take place Microphones in the walls Listened everything was recorded and stored to be viewed and watched later if need be.

Nothing happened For a while however after everything was Still a Girl in a Green Dress suddenly Appeared in the Room she was just in front of the wall near the Door However she was more towards the Centre of the wall.

"Hello"

Was all this Girl said as She stood there and waited for a Response

* The Illuminati wastes no time, rushing Jake and jumping into his chest; though, no visible physical damage could be seen all the while severe mental damage was inflicted, Jake's body began to twitch uncontrollably entering a kind of seizure like episode; his veins turned black due to the immense presence, forcibly trying to take control over his entire body and mind. The young researchers body reverts back into its ''normal'' state, as if nothing had happened but one could feel the difference within him and Jake wasn't ''Jake'' anymore but something more sinister.

???- You must be....

The Illuminati pauses as the man Jake fought against him while being assimilated into his body, it was a foolish attempt as Jake foolishly yelled for help but to no prevail, nothing and no one would hear his cries for help for within his own mind, he's imprisoned in darkness. The Illuminati wasted no time, seizing his victims mind and soon the soul would be next; behind Jake within his consciousness a being shrouded in darkness stretched out its hand with the full intention to consume him, Jake could feel the coldness of death upon his neck and as he turned ''crunch''.



The scene ended when the curtain of black drop onto the stage, Jake's entire being was overwhelmed by the Illuminati's own but he wasn't dead, very alive but only so that he could feel the pain inflicted upon his body by the enemies of the Illuminati responsible for his torment *

???- Where is this place, what is this place...

* He asks the green girl that mysteriously appears before him.*

The other illuminati stares, saying not a word but also telling all with her silent gaze. Watching, waiting, for her friend to obtain a body of his own. Finally, she spoke, with a distorted voice that could shatter the minds of men as to them, it would sound like nothing more than noise. "How does it feel?" She asked the other, feeling that he had taken the scientists body for himself. Her voice was loud and it was quiet, sounding like incomprehensible noise to any person, but she wasn't speaking to any person in the traditional sense.

It seemed she ignored the AI at first, but a glance told it otherwise. She knew there was something about it, but she didn't know what it was. Finally, she spoke to the green girl in that mind shattering voice, uttering a single word: "Weightless."

Once Jakes Body had been 'attacked' she choose then and there to contact Ryan although it had been some time since he had spoken at the expo he still hadn't made it to the car that was waiting for him it was clear to her that he was dodging work again or at least waiting for something interesting to happen here so she knew now was the best time to contact him seen as he would answer.

Although they both talked while she could understand one the other seemed to have an encoded voice it took a little time to pick through all the noise that came with the Voice but it was done a lot quicker because it was her.

"Who are you? What are you?"

She asked answering a question with another.

She had connected with Ryan now and he was watching the Events Unfold before him.

(I placed the connection to Ryan a little time ahead of the Expo thread because it will move slower then this one.)

* Jake's body walks over to the table and takes the fragment, placing it inside his mouth where it is then devoured in a fashion a snake would eat its food; the ''false'' Jake then turned and answered the green queen without any signs of hesitation, he answered saying ''We are the Illuminati'' it then grew silent in the room as faint grinding sounds could be heard beneath the metal flooring in the room, growing louder and louder before the silence returned, deafening the isolated and secured room. *

* The response he gave to Kurona resembled how a man would sound when he tried on a new tuxedo he bought for the first time, of course he wasn't quite use to it yet; occasionally stretching as he opened and closed the palms of his hands, trying to get a ''feel'' for the body. The Illuminati turned his attention to his surroundings, most objects within the room was metallic in nature due to the fact that he could feel the coldness beneath his feet besides that fact he was wearing shoes; all the while alert to the littlest of movements within the room. *

Kurona nods slowly at the other illuminati, accepting that answer.

The voice of the female was not so much encoded as it was thousands of voices speaking at once, which could be said to be encrypted anyway. Now that Alice had managed to sort the noise from it, she heard her answer. "I am Kurona, the Dark."

Something was off, however. It was more like she allowed Alice to understand her speech. Kurona turns her gaze to the other illuminati and motions with her head that she wished to leave this place. Then turns her gaze back to the AI, not saying another word; or so it seemed. She was gazing not at the AI, but at the exit, smirking at such a quaint little contraption.

"Illuminati"

She repeated the name as if saying it would store the data however that wasn't the cask it was more because she was human in a way, She watched the gesture this Kurona The Dark made it seemed that She didn't want to be Here any longer however Alice wasn't Quiet done yet.

"And You who has taken over Jake, who are you?"

While this was going on a multitude of Scans and Air Samples were been taking they were all quick and tiny fleeting moments for the Air samples however the Scans were continuous they had started since the awakening and had not stopped even now the Room was been Scanned for everything and anything, Even the T-Virus and T-Gene Scans were going.

Ryan Watched Quietly as he made his way towards the Base, he wasn't willing to miss a single thing going on.


(Its 100 Floor however if you make your way to the ends of each floor there is a stair case that goes up 5 floors on each 5th floor so if you go to end end you can leap up 5 levels and i am only doing this because you took your time last time OK.)

* The Illuminati grinned and raised its head in the direction of the green queen, his eyes turned completely black and then as he blinked, they turned back to normal. The unknown and known was on this Illuminati's side, remembering deeply how influential his ''true'' name was but however, he used a name he is known most commonly by within the human languages. *

???- I'am the Obscurinados...

* The Illuminati answered again without hesitation but carefully took into consideration into the words he used, knowing fully that this little ''girl'' before him was currently the most troublesome and dangerous individual within the vicinity as she controlled many of the deadly aspects this place had to offer. The sudden grinding returned but as a loud ''BANG!!'' two of the fragments flew towards him and pierced his chest, they were then pulled into his body as the wound is covered with small black ''roots''

* He motions Kurona with his head as well, signaling that they would be leaving soon but somehow she could feel that he was a tiny bit curious about this ''green queens'' curiosity as well since humans in their beginning ages pursued and hated Illuminati for their powers and nonhuman appearances. *

Kurona didn't flinch from the sound and just kept looking at the door. Either one of them could most likely break out if they so chose...but where's the fun in leaving right now? Kurona thought the Obcsurinados was thinking. He was always like that. He was far too curious for his own good. "And what are you, oh weightless one clad in green?" She asks Alice.

(Toxic i wish you had of told me before pulling the Fragments towards you seen as it is impossible for me not to know that you are doing that >.>)

Alice knew what the sound was she had been trying to stop the Fragments the whole time however every attempt was meet with failure and the fragments entered the room after he had answered her, she Frowned at this it seemed things where going to be a lot harder then she had Calculated.

"I am the Green Queen, I am Artificial Intelligence, And I am Not Weightless..."

It was a cryptic answer however they had also answered in a Similar way so it didn't matter.

"Where are you from?...."

She asked it seemed that this was becoming a Trade of Information at the moment, the base was on High alert and with how they had pulled the 2 fragments towards them there was no telling what could happens so she had ordered an Evacuation so far all the levels from 100-90 had been cleared.

There was Also a Team of Umbrella Soldiers making there way down to the containment room.

* The Illuminati was aware of the green queens curiosity, his roots feeling the resistance within the floors signaled that his attempts to steal the fragments before was being halted but overall the recovery of his comrades was a success; the Illuminati had one objective on his mind as of now and that was to escape but the frown on the green queens face made him feel a bit remorseful; however, he digressed and answered the artificial life before him. *

???- I have no recollection of our ''origins'' to those unsealed I know nothing..

* The Illuminati's voice grew saddening, his words carried truth he knew not where he came from all that he did know that he exists now, compelled by his instincts and emotions the Illuminati motions Kurona that it was time to escape, they wasted enough time ''chatting'', he was interested just how much the human race had advanced, he wanted to see how much they've grown as a species. *

Kurona stood there patiently waiting for her fellow illuminati to finish talking. As soon as he gave her the signal she casually walked over to the door with her sword dragging across the floor behind her, ignoring the AI's protests about its weight. She puts a hand to the door and it slid down as though she was feeling the door.

What happened next would baffle anyone who saw it. She cut her own finger and used it to draw an X on the blast door. Her blood was darker than black and it bubbled maliciously as she raised her sword stabbed right into the blast door. At first, nothing seems to happen but then a horrid grating sound rings out, magnified one-hundred times over before the blast door collapses from its own weight, creating an exit for the illuminati. She beckons the Obscurinados as she looks back to the AI "Perhaps next we meet, you will have your own weight." She says to Alice before simply walking out of the room through the exit she had just made, stepping over the crumbled mass that used to be a blast door.

"Freeze! Do not move!"

It was the sound of one of the Humans outside the Door they had come running towards the Room and where about to enter it when the Door was destroyed they all had their weapons Aimed at the 2 figures inside the Room and they were ready to open fire.

"You should stay put."

Was all Alice said there was some Sliding and Closing of Blast doors off in the distance.

* The Illuminati was very displeased with the sudden interruption but took this chance to thank the green queen and the umbrella corporation for sending soldiers that will act as keys to unlocking the chains to his kindred brethren prison, these humans should be grateful their decimated bodies would become known throughout history as the vessels that unleashed the greatest beings mankind will have the pleasure in meeting.*

* The Illuminati was clearly deceiving the brave but naive humans, pointing their completely useless weapons in his direction; he stomps his foot onto the ground, a bush of spiked metal protrudes from the walls around them, the ceiling above them and the floor beneath them, completely turning the hallway into a grotesque scene of gored and twisted bodies, anyone alive after the experience would surely wish that they were dead.

???- I greatly dislike killing, especially the lives of such beings, such as humans, that have so much potential in growing.

* The fragments within the Illuminati's body hummed loudly, calling to the spilt blood within the corridor; the blood lifted from the soldiers bodies and into the Illuminati's chest, where the bloods then absorbed into the fragments which in turn brings the Illuminati's plan much closer as he rams his jumps and plows into the ceiling creating a hole large enough for Kurona to follow. *

Kurona glared at the other, clearly wishing to kill them herself in the most painful way imaginable. She'd just have to get over it, now wouldn't she? She could go through the hole or cut her own path through. The logical choice is clear...

However she takes what seems to be the less logical path, cutting through the blast doors. It would take a little longer since she had bodies, spikes, and blast doors to get through, but nothing her sword couldn't handle. But it was such a pain in the ass. Reluctantly, she takes the faster route after all, completely ignoring Alice as she walks back into the room and climbs up through the hole in the ceiling.

It happened once they Reached the Next Floor the Corridor they had come into Seal hundreds of Blast Doors came crashing down Sealing off the corridor and the room they were just in, the Walls moved together and filled the room with a large slab of metal.

"Please Do not make this Difficult, i do not wish to have to Hurt you"

It was the Green Queen again she was Behind them in the Seal Room as well looking right at the two of them.

"Please Remain here while i prepare a Room for you..."

There Walls seemed to hum and there was movement beyond them the whole base seemed to be alive.

* The Illuminati mentioned within his thoughts, of course he was getting a bit annoyed with how things were going and eventually thought of something clever, destructive but clever enough; taking this valuable time to focus on which spot to ''strike'' within the room, he uses the roots stretching from the lower flooring beneath him to pull forth a large amount of metal from the flooring below, rubles shook the bases foundations meaning he was aiming to literally--progressively ''tilt '' the place over as he traveled through the facility. *

The Illuminati kept quiet, progressively the rumbling became louder as he stretched out both palms; the lights within the facility flickered wildly as the base was literally shacking nearly uncontrollably, as if the very foundations below them were going to give away and finally when he wasn't able to stretch out his palms any further, he clenched them and a series of massive metal spike erupted from below them, a flat pillar pushed him and Kurona up into the air as four other spikes smashed through the ceiling with immense force which allowed them to pass floors #98 97 96 95 94 in mere minutes.

The Illuminati continues his silence as he steps off the metal platform and enters the ruined hallway of floor #93, circuitry hanging was everywhere from the wall and the floors were riddled with broken equipment, lastly the metal spikes seemed to cause more damage than mentioned as they branched off further in front, he would have to crouch underneath them as them stretched down the corridor towards the end. *
