I suspected the "14th" did it, but it could be a colleuge to that reaver person =/.

Awesome chapter indeed.

Woahs, this chapter started out funny (Lmao, "She has a brother".) and then got serious with this new darker version of Allen. He scares me. T_T

I kind of suspect Link....

Congrats for Allen finally having more distinct personality.

Now for who killed Cross.
For one it can be act of foolishness and Hitler says the truth. So then, its either Bookman or Link.
For second it can be a lie. the "noo how could you think i have done it" way of lie. Paired with the call fro USA, it seems quite possible.

I like Dark Allen, I hope he can successfully make the turn to the dark side I have always wanted from one of my Shounen leads.

I have the strong feeling that he shot himself instead of someone shooting him. Remember the 2 guards are there sleeping. Hard to get in & fire without a sound.

I doubt Cross would be that slow though. Remember he took out 3 Level 3 Akumas in almost an instant. He should be able to fire at least a shot at the "murderer".

BTW, I can't believe Innocence can really "leave" its host. Or is it something else?

No he does not, since the mask was keeping the spells necessary for her suspended animation to fool the innocence.




For one, I doubt these guards were actually asleep ~_^ Most likely whoever came in, took care of them first. For second, its not that important, since shot WAS heard. Hell, even Allen heard it >_>

And shooting himself...riite and then, after he killed himself by blowing his head out, he casually fell through the window after two-three hours? Let's not forget the scene when his guards find him. There was someone else in the room too.

Now the slowness...Well that only proves that he could not shoot. Either the innocence WAS blocked, or Cross did not get a chance against the speed of his opponent.

Innocence leaves its owner when the owner dies. Then its converted back into cube by the order and awaits for new owner. Thats why Noahs precisely target the innocence itself, as to diminish the number of weapons available for Order.

I couldn't get half of what was said at the end of the chapter. Anyway, now the manga is giving a sudden turn by portraying the good guys as part of a nefarious organization, while the Earl might have a good reason to do what he does... I kinda feel like it's both too sudden and too late to do something like this.

No, I bet that the earl has something to do with this. It would be weird for someone to write so much about the earl being the bad guy and then suddenly after 170 chapters to say that the earl is the good guy and the organization is the bad one.

Anyways everyone was suspecting central. The generals and hitler. I guess that is why they kept on introducing all the new people in the headquarters seem to be from central..

Ugh, cant Bookman give us more information? XD Everything is confusing.

i doubt that allen would do that. i think its is the secretary right hand man.

as to marian, i think he got shot but i wonder why he left behind his innocence. what reason, i mean he would lose alot of his power now because he did that.

The problem is that Earl was portrayed anything BUT a badguy. If anything all the development made him look NOT like a bad guy



Oh its not that sudden, considering all the developments - start with shady figures, "fallen" accidents, Lenalee background. It was never a goodie organization.




My bet is that Cross IS really dead and we are still seeing a flashback - since we still did NOT see Allen finding the video-message in Tim.

Now whoever did that removed the body for some reason. Maybe to try to make it look like he escaped. Maybe to use it somehow. Maybe to hide the actual way on how Cross was killed. Many options.

This chapter makes me think Cross will make some sort of surprise reappearance in the future. I got a sense of some foreshadowing based on some the line wording. I mean, he can't just die and be gone THAT easily, can he?

The Lavi pose was awesome....

Bookman and his elusivness...never gives us the answers does he....But he did say, "If Marian was alive as it were..."

Of course everything willprobably make sense in the future...but for now its just an awesome confusion that I LOVE <33

I liked Allen in this chapter, so serious ^^
But I don't think the 14th killed marian, I suspect Link and the people from central.

poor Tim, he miss marian so much, thats sad...

Easily one of my favorite chapters lately. It was just awesome. The new developments -- I really, really, really hope Cross is alive and comes back -- and the new plot with Hitler and the Akuma's Egg made me excited to read more. :3
