since this is a visual novel thread i'd like to pose a question. i have little to no experience with visual novels. if i play a visual novel in the wrong region on my computer is it just not going to work, or is something bad going to happen? thanks ![]() |

There are no regions for PC games. Some of the Japanese ones need to be played with your Windows locale set to Japanese, but that's only so they can display the fonts properly. All officially translated VNs, and most English patched ones, will work fine without changing anything. ![]() |

Pretty sure Majikoi will become my favourite VN if only the true path is translated. So far, disregarding the after story which is catered with sex scenes, the characters were all likeable. It was a VN where I actually want to do everyone's path at some point (again, disregarding the sex scenes). |

Hands down my favorite is Umineko no Naku Koro ni. So sad that it got a bad anime adaptation. |

I've only played two so far (Fate/stay night and Umineko no Naku Koro ni), but I liked them both. I'd guess Umineko is a slight bit more fascinating, though. |
