it was very good, a breath of fresh air;)
The best relationship/interactions was Arata x Taichi, loved their bromance.

Loved this show, will be much missed!!!! The characters, art, music, script.. bascially everything... was wonderful! Here hoping for a season 2!!! :D

I just watch this because of Mamoru's voice, but now I can't wait for season 2 and the scanlantions from chapter 30-90 should be finish ASAP!

man this anime disappointed me. none of my fave characters won, no budding romance consummated, and no closure. unless this is just posturing for a season 2. even still tho i expect more from a finale.

I really liked this series, I gave it a 10/10. It had so many heartwarming moments in it. Didn't really feel Arata as a main character but everyone else was really good. I kinda wished they had won more games towards the end. But oh well, I enjoyed the journey ^^.

Finished the show in a week and a half... I enjoyed it so much. Please let there be a second season as there are just too many loose ends that need to be addressed.

An incomplete series with an anticlimactic ending. It's lovely; it's eye candy; it's ear candy; but still, it's nothing! No resolutions to our lovely triangle, no resolutions to their karuta careers, only a gang of half-beatup fighters still chasing their dreams.

If there isn't a second season, I'll be sorely disappointed.

I just watched all episodes yesterday and I love this anime. Needs a season 2 fast!

Loved this series from start to finish, really hope it gets a second season eventually.

Really good series, even though I was quiet skeptical about it, I really enjoyed it.
I hope there'll be a second (or even third.. hehe) season someday, I'll definitely catch up with the manga.
It still felt more shoujo-ish then josei tbh (mostly because of the semi-love triangle and the way the characters look like), but in the end it doesn't bother me as much as I thought it would.
My only little complain would be the way all of the members were recruited (it was a bit too predictable, as far as I can still recall) and Arata's voice sounded a bit off to me (too old and "rough").
The music also shouldn't be forgotten, it got a bit repetitive near the end but it was really great and such a pleasure to listen to :-)

I'm kinda unsatisfied with the last episode. But I like this anime as a whole~

Enjoy this shoujo much(even im not-a-shoujo-fans), so i would say 9/10 is acceptable score for chihayafuru :D

I really hope for Season 2, can't wait to watch it xD

Fantastic finale, it perfectly concludes a possible first season. This episode actually gives me incentive to start working hard for my own dreams, it's such an inspiring show.
