| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- I wish there could be another season but since we that "The end" credit I'm guessing that if there is one it might not come for years. Still I think that this was by far one of the best, if not the best season of Natsume. But if this is indeed the end, then we still have the manga. Thank you Natsume for making my Mondays something to look forward to this last 13 weeks! The only thing that I would ask for is at least an OVA with some romance! |

| Airing 1 hour late. He's losing conscious, and showing past memory. One of the kids laughing at him is Miyukichii!! And has a shrine for his secret place. The girl runs away when he tries to apologize to her because living there makes her trouble. Showing his side of the time with that girl. The youkai trying to eat all those memory, but Natsume resisted, and Nyanko-sensei saved him. They finally arrived. Full of drawings by young Natsume. After shedding tears, they went back. Continuing of the lamune trip! Oh, so it was girls' test to the guys. Then photos. Nice that he also took one with Nyanko-sensei. |

| It was a bad idea to watch this between classes today. Now my face is a mess...snot and tears everywhere. Hats off to the anime staff...it is an impressive feat to take something as good as Midorikawa's manga and make it into something even better. |

| Fourth season was a pretty good ride...except for the redoing of things that didn't quite match up with the manga, but I didn't mind the rearranging of events though since they didn't really have an order to begin with because they were mostly short story arcs. Keeping Sasada Jun was the best decision to change in the series. In the manga there's more material to animate, but it's caught up pretty fast, so if they ever do have another season, they'll wait for more money and prospects to produce it, and more material from the author. |

| I certainly love this series, and it is always a pity to reach each season's end. I hope we can watch more of Natsume, Nyanko-sensei and the book of friends soon! This series is 10, a Masterpiece! |
| I cried like a little girl. What an incredible and touching ending, I'm so happy for Natsume but so sad that I'll not be able to see another episode in a while... I love this show so much it hurts. I wish there was a season 5, that "The end" made me sad. Fuck, Natsume ;_; 10/10 series. |

| This series was an incredible series that took every emotion into one without it being cheesy. Love and hate was either overcome or obtained during the 4 seasons of this series. I love how nothing was every taken too seriously yet we the audience still sit and hope for the best for whats to come. Hats off to the producers and story writers. Heads up for the 5th season; just because it credited "The End", there is still hope, as what the series taught up. |

| I hadn't cried for any other episode of Natsume before, though I would get choked up and be so full of emotion that it physically hurt, but this episode made me bawl! I'm sure everyone has felt the same way little Natsume did at one point or another and just watching him run calling "Dad! Dad!" was just to much for me to take. This episode ended wonderfully, just as perfectly as I'd hoped it would. Together with the family he had always wanted. I do expect that it will be a long time before we see more of the anime though I still think there will be at least two more seasons (in the anime Natsume is in his second year of high school and each season is half a year) The manga is ongoing and there will be definitely more Natsume out there to enjoy (if the scanlators would actually catch up to the latest chapter!) One difference between the two I have noticed is that in the manga Natsume is known as a pretty boy, girls go crazy over him, though from a distance. I wonder if they decided to leave this element out of the anime to make it less targeted directly to girls and to a broader audience. I think that's why there is little romance for Natsume. Anyway it's going to be a little lonely without Natsume and Nyanko-sensei on my TV screen but I know I'll definitely watch all four seasons again and again. 10/10 |

| I'd say this was more varied and moving than the third season. The latter episodes were especially well-written. Didn't expect that. I will happily watch a fifth season, but I won't mind if it takes a couple of years until it airs. Best anime this year so far, yep. 7/10 |

| I pretty much cried the whole episode. I don't want it to be over. This was my favorite season of Natsume Yuujinchou. The first anime I gave a 10/10. I really hope they make another season someday. |

| This was possibly the best Natsume season finale ever. It was unexpectedly heartbreaking but it also had the warmth and compassion that we've come to know in this series. I'm really tempted to give this season a 10. I can't think of any episode in this series that I wasn't bored with or didn't like, and on the whole, it was just an amazing 13 episodes. I really hope there is a fifth season. If not, then...;A; |

| Such a touching finale. I cried. Seriously. Well this isn't my first time shedding tears over a Natsume episode, but when Natsume ran out calling out his father repeatedly, I burst into tears. T_T I am so glad the Fujiwaras are so nice. I loved the way Touko-san hold Natsume's shoulders from behind as they came closer to take the pic. So much love! <3 I cannot dislike Miyoko for doing what she did, since she was a little girl back then, so it can be expected. :| Seeing all of his friends together for a final time was so pleasing. I am wondering what Taki and Sasada would do if they found out Natori-san wa Natsume no shiriai! :P. I am not sure it was a good idea to drink that. Nishimura must have quite the stomach if he doesn't get it upset. :D An amazing anime and I am sure we will have more of Natsume. Natsume has one of the better production value in the market, so a 5th or even a 6th won't be far. But i think we will be waiting at least a year before that. :) 10+/10 |
