Yeah!! Now it's time to catch up with the manga... at least for me.. I just hope it doesn't go the same way as the first adaptation of FMA :/ I'm the king... of Fujoshi Land!! |

McRib said: With Bones' recent track record, I'm a little afraid to see how this will turn out... I'm hoping (really hard) it won't be them adapting it. I don't think it's their kind of narrative anyway. Sounds more like JC Staff or Production IG... or even A1 Pictures. To be honest I don't need an anime myself, I'm completely content with just having the manga (especially seeing how other adaptations of Arakawa's works have been), but if that means the manga is going to get more exposure and Arakawa's going to earn some more money, I'm fine with it. It's too soon for an anime. I at least hope they can finish the 1st season without catching up with the manga and then give it a time before starting the 2nd season. |

I didn't check the manga out because I wasn't sure I was going to like it and intended to check it out later. However, news that it is getting an anime has made me more interested. I'll definitely be watching it when it comes out and I'll probably read the manga alongside it. I hope it gets a good studio. |

Hiromu Arakawa is my all time favorite mangaka. I'm so glad she's getting an anime for Silver Spoon! |

belatkuro said: I'm...terribly conflicted. On one hand, getting an anime means it's popular enough. It's a great manga by Arakawa. Unique as well. On the other, there's only 34 freaking chapters around. Anime producers should really wait until it gathered more materials before adapting a work. Oh well, it's their decision. I just think it's a bad idea at the moment. Lol a silver spoon bundled in the volume. Nah, it'll probably turn out to be a very good timing. You know. It takes months to make an audition for all the seiyuus, animation, music, voice acting and so on. SS will probably get a big step ahead of the anime when the first episode comes out. Also, there are now 48 chaps around. Lol indeed! Modified by GonePolly, 08-03-12, 5:35 AM |
