Main character is too simple, so they are also changing it. New Year Party is coming up, too, but they are absent. lol @ the editors wearing animal suits for them to be absent. Not only that, they are performing!! The energetic assistant is back with new assistant who attended the award. Wow, he looks evil. And another new assistant looks "girly" (he applied to be Niizuma's assistant, but ended up being the pair's). Wow, new ones are fast. The winner to draw is that girly assistant. The assistant who looks evil vs. girly assistant over being "popular" or not. Wow, Saikou's ideal about manga!! PCP (Perfect Crime Party) is the new title!! There's also one shot from Fukuda!! The editors are testing the pair. It seems like Fukuda's one shot is more interesting without explanations. Miho enjoyed reading it. Wow!! It's top 1 with huge voting difference against Fukuda, however, they also wants Fukuda to continue reading them. Novelist-mangaka is rewritten it. Special ED w. second verse., and eating what Hattori bought. Saikou brought everyone to uncle's tomb about the ranking. Then showing of the 2nd season in digest. Uncle, who appeared out of no where, said it's just the beginning. Editor-in-chief continuing to test the pair until 13 chapters (?)/6 months! |

| all that's left is to wait for a next season. that episode where they get serialized would be better ending but I scene with Mashiro uncle was best for the end... and also can't have the same ending for both season. Now all that's left is to wait for another season. |
| So Season 2 was good and it covered a huge chunk of the material in the manga (Chapters 35-91). I was also glad that they decided not to include Shizuka Ryu. It looks like the Season 3 main antagonist (the guy in the preview for season 3) is going to be Nanamine Toru! |

| Awesome Ending! I loved it!! Especially the scene with Mashiro uncle it was great! I really enjoyed this season! It was very entertaining! Sadly I will have to wait 6 months for the next season to be aired -_- |

| was quicker pace than season1 even though i enjoyed that season as well. Wonder how far the next season will be hopefully they make about 60-70 chapter off next season! |

| I find this a lot better than the prequel esp. in terms of pacing. But I'll still give a 9 /10 - same as the first season. I'm happy that they announced another season. Will certainly follow it. |
| What a great episode this was. The pacing was great. I'm glad they announced a third season. What the Chief Editor said at the end was a whooper of line. I got to see how they do against +Natural and Crow. I can't wait for it to air. |

| Whaaa, loved the ending, DAMN I must bear without reading manga till third season will air! So excited already :D! We get shota assistant + Snape-like-looking assistant (though I still love Orihara-kun best). And they deserved first place, they have won with Fukuda by so many votes! Second season is far better than 1st, maybe because there wasn't many Azuki moments. And thanks Hiramaru x Yoshida who were so funny together. Eiji is love as always too <3 See you at first episode of 3rd season :D! Must... not... read... manga.... |

| awesome ending, but it was expected, i wish there was some other interesting developments to the story. that last scene didnt really peak my interest or anything, the one with the top dude saying like at issue whatever if it isnt competing with niizuma then i will cancel it. oh well though, all in all great second season and i cant wait for the third :) |

It's not the worst. The first arc was pretty good. His second arc, however, was a bit draggy and boring. Still, I'd say the "worst part" is over (the whole Tanto arc). So I'm really looking forward to Season 3. |

| It went as expected until they got 1st place and showed the result to Mashiro's uncle. Those scenes had a LOT more impact than in the manga. I was so happy for them I teared. While the first half was average, the second half was really good. Definitely a well done episode. I'd give the episode a 10/10 if it wasn't for all the other mangakas kind of killing the mood between the 1st place discovery and the family grave scene. 9/10 |

| After reading through the manga I kinda wish they hadn't cut Shizuka Ryu from the show. Without him Yamahisa has no redeeming scenes and comes off as just a douchebag. |
When Ashirogi Muto got 1st place for PCP I was like...  Love this series and looking forward to next season :) 10/10 |

| I... Wow... I cried. That's all I can say. I went into this with not very high expectations. Let's just say, this last episode was much better than the Chihayafuru one I just saw earlier today. What a shame that two amazing anime ended today (for me at least). I laughed my ass off when Hattori and Yujirou did that weird dance thing at the party. It's really weird how their last names are both Hattori. You know what, I plain fucking love Niizuma Eiji, he is an unique and wonderful character. Wish he didn't have to work with Akina Aiko though. When it comes to their win, I am just so happy that it happened that way. Their morale has been really low throughout Tanto, and the #1 ranking was such a great and happy way to end it off. I feel like Tanto, albeit maybe a bit boring, was really necessary for these two to develop, both as characters and mangakas. The ending montage really got to me, and I started tearing up. Ashirogi Muto have been through so much, and it's only going to get better now. I absolutely CANNOT wait for Bakuman 3, I hope they make it as good as this 2nd season. Just plain wow. Amazing series, really, I wish more people would watch this. I'm all goosebumpy and frazzled because the ending was done so magnificently, and set up perfectly for the next season. Okay I'll end this comment off, but... Here's to the next season of Bakuman, and may it have more seasons along the way! |
| So much better than the first season. And that is mainly because it was focused on them creating manga and not the lame love story of Mashiro (which I still think is completely stupid). I like the editor and chief doing that to them. There were numerous times I would feel that things were getting a little to easy and given to them and thought it took away from the realistic aspect. I mean a lot of the stunts they pulled wouldn't really work in real life. But anyway, I did like that ending with him at the cemetery and will be waiting to see what happens. 8/10 |

| I really liked Mashiro's speech about manga. It was done really well and felt more serious and meaningful that it did in the manga. It was the best part in this episode for me. It was a nice touch that they decided to depict Mashiro's uncle in a spiritual form or w/e that was too. And as stupid as it might sound the only thing that bothered me was that Shiratori's voice wasn't as feminine as I imagined it to be, but no biggie. Good conclusion episode. 5/5 Overall this season focused a little bit more on the technical aspects of the industry and dealt with character interactions where's the first season focused more on the pure enthusiasm aspect and had fresher feeling to it. But overall I liked both of them. But either way both had stable and good quality. So it seems like the 25 episodes each year formula works well for Bakuman. I gave the first one an 8/10 and this one was just as good so I'll give it a 8/10 aswell. Personal predictions for season 3: Either way, I'm expecting the arrival of season 3. |
