worst series ever
i rather saito pick any other girl then louise
the pope has what coming to him
the only time louise is cute and loveable is when she send saito back to his world

And I guess that's it for ZnT. Saito and Louise ended up being enough for the dragon. Well in a way, it took the 4 void mages to defeat the beast. Julio being the pope's familiar and Joseph's fire stone was essential to keep the fleet alive. Kinda feel bad for Julio not being able to stay with his loved one anymore. Colbert being at peace with Agnes was cool. Osmond for once was gar xD. Hooray for Derflinger being alive! Needed more Colbert x Kirche in this season!

The ending was cool, and left my mouth watering for a final season, without any real plot, just to show some slice of life in good ol' earth :3 however I doubt that's ever going to happen.
Also if that were to happen, Colbert should come along. For long he desired to see a world without conflict (he'd only be disappointed with our world though :( )

ZnT was the third anime I watched, and sure did leave memories. Now that I'm done with it, will rewatch Shana and then wrap up the last season.

All things considered, I'm happy that ZnT finally ended. Even if Saito casually stole an airplane with no negative repercussions. Not saying it's outstanding or anything. It's just if it ended in any other way, I wouldn't be very happy with it at all. W-why are you looking at me like that? B-baka!

hmmm... I really liked the whole ZnT series I would have preferred a harem ending just my opinion. I just found Louise really annoying :p and I like some of the other female minor characters after Saito. :D
But it was a really good end to the series.

They should have made the last episode of Zero no Tsukaima different because it made me feel like watching the last episode of Shana again. Both series:

- Already had similarities in the beginning (based on light novel, JC Staff, the main guy and girl, and their seiyuus)
- Last episode aired on the same day
- The first OP theme was played
- Giant "monster"
- The guy was believed about to die or disappear
- The main guy and girl "officially" became a couple
- There was/were ring(s) symbolizing their relationship
- Ending scene had them being in another world (not the main world of the series)

They should have made the ending memorable like Shana's ending. Even so I'm gonna miss both series. Now that both have finished, I wonder if Hidan no Aria is next (assuming there will be more seasons) since it belongs in the same group as Shana, Zero no Tsukaima and Toradora.

Thank you sir for ruining shakugan no shana for me.I haven't gotten around to finish it but it a appears an imbecile has come along and taking the excitement out of it.

Back on topic the ending was really cute when I saw Louis opening the portal I thought "they're going to Japan". I feel like it was a nice way of concluding the series.

Would have been nice to see his parents reaction for his return lol.
Saito: Mom, dad i'm home.
This may sound a little crazy but i went into another world with wizards and dragons and now that we have slain the big one i have returned with my wife Louise, Hello.
Nawh but it would have been funny.

8/10 - Only because I didn't like the ending much.

In my opinion, it was obviously predictable, but I personally didn't want Saito and Louise to get married. *cough* they're like 16 and Saito has shown to never learn *cough*

Saito getting the jet that costs millions from a military base and just flying it into an eclipse caught me off guard. I didn't actually think he'd do it, especially knowing the military bases. I mean, we just happen to have a solar eclipse on the day you return to your world? Give me a break!

I would have rather have had an OVA where Louise goes over to Saito's world rather than 2 minutes with her looking around the city and then meeting his parents.

What's he going to say: "Hi mom and dad, I'm sorry I've been gone for a long time, but I brought back my wife Louise!"

Off to read the light novels and find out what REALLY happens!

Except for the Jet part this final episode was good but doesn't save my overall grade in this series, the worst season of ZnT in my opinion.

i am still laughing at the whole concept of beating a giant magical dragon with a fighter jet from another dimension thing that just happened. I was wondering how he managed to fly the damn thing til i remembered his power. overall a good ending to the series, sad to see it go since it has been what, almost 50 episodes? the longer the series the more attached i get :(

I hope they make an ova or something that has them in saito's world doing shit, that would be interesting to see.

This was a fantastic episode. Louise and Saito's marriage was very cute and enjoyable.

Louise was definitely the best thing of this show.

I would give this episode a 6/5

That said, the entire season wasn't that good.

Overall 5/10

Pretty much the only thing I liked about this anime was the end. And I'm not talking about the dragon fight. I'm guessing a lot of content was cut out from the novel cause this just feels really rushed.

Don't know why Saito threw his F-2 (that costs $127 million each, for comparison a F-22 costs $150 mil each) away so easily, but I guess since Louise can now use World Door easily they can always go and get more. A modern jet like that could probably conquer most of Halkeginia given enough time and munitions.

Pretty bad ending. I expected more from this show but oh well.. I think this episode was anime original which could explain to why it was so horrible. I swear didn't they get married in S2? They should've just ended the show there.

Great final for the series, quite obvious the happy ending too.
I loved when he appeared flying a F-16, I was expecting something like that since he abandoned the F-4.
I think the creator has a little fetish with fighter jets

im too lazy to type out all the reasons this episode in particular was horrible.

looking back on this season, not a single one of the new characters would i deem necessary to the story, animation and music were awful, and the entire season was just a rushed mess story-wise.

Although this episode felt like it was rushed (like the rest of this season), I still enjoyed the ending about as much as I enjoyed the ending of season 2.

In my opinion, if it has got to end now, at least it ended really well.

Can't say it was the best concluding episode for a series ever, nor the most satisfactory of adaptations as a whole (obviously, they left SO much stuff out and added as many in, basically making it an original series for the most part), but hey, they got married! And they can travel through both worlds!
Good ending.

A quick question however, what ever happened with the spirit or water and the ring that was supposed to be found? I imagine a forgotten plot hole =(

If you were to count the number of plot holes lol. Even though the story was sub-par, but I still love Louise and Saito and thus have to give this series a 9/10.

Two things made the ending exceptionally well for me to another harem rom-com anime series:

(1) playing the 1st season's opening and with perfect timing was just killer

(2) it was conclusive that they ended up marrying instead of the end fading away as they return back to school life and saito goes crazy over boobies, etc etc

I wish it had been longer though. I definitely wanted some plot development and more screen time for the mercenary crew... they're pretty entertaining especially that girl who licks louise :)

Horrible ending.

Here are just a few things that i didn't like\make no sense.

1. He gets beat up by 3 random little kids, weapon or no weapon didn't he train with Agnes without his powers and get good? Not to mention hes been in numerous fights all which would have given him plenty of experience.
2. His parents\family, we never even got to see them, its kind of like he didn't give a shit about them and he cared more for some little kid who used to make him sleep on a pile of hay.
3. Too much power of friendship crap.
4. How anyone could stand to be with that little kid is beyond my comprehension, i mean what exactly is there to like about her? Especially when you have 20 other girls who practically want to jump you 24\7.
5. I'm failing to see the point of those 3 mercenaries or what ever you want to call them, its like they were only brought up so they could be used later to protect the castle (Otherwise they would have been screwed from the very beginning)
6. Probably the most ridiculous thing of them all. How the hell did he get onto a military base to steal a fully armed jet? I don't care what country your in there's no military base on earth that is that poorly guarded.
7. Maybe i'm a little biased since i did watch all 4 seasons in a row (The span of about 3 days) but i swear the whole Louise beating him got old REAL fast, i mean by the 3rd time i was over it, and by the 2nd season i was just fast forwarding through it everytime i came up.

There's probably a lot more but i can't think of anything right now.

I'll have to ponder my rating of this ending. I didn't think they could pull off a satisfying ending after they bumbled away several episodes. But, it wrapped up nicely, so while I was very upset at one point, the ending is what I'd hope for. Even if Louise still needs 'tamed' lol

Well it was an great ending for a rushed season. However considering the season as a whole i will give it about 8/10 it just felt too rushed and there season ending made me feel like something missing and i hate to feel that when i watch an ending. Still no idea how the hell did Saito get a jet so easily. At least the ending with Saito and Louise getting married was nice and satisfying and lots of MOE Louise after the marriage when she went to Saito's world. Will read the LN to know what actually happens.

I was thinking the same thing. (LOL) I kind of envy Saito's Gandalf powers. Just touch a weapon and you can use it w/o fail.

Kaah, F-16 (F-16 or Mitsubishi?)! <33333 And the OP of the first season played.

Ending was cute too, but I don't think I completely liked the season. I assumed the trip to Japan was temporary. Did they really just door-hop into a Japanese street? LOL

That fag juz totally fgt about his parent and went over to his lover. He should ring the freaking bell and get in or at least see them for once and yea a boy who juz lost to 3 little street punks can sneak pass the military base's security and steal a jet plane.
Any military with it's stuff being stolen or leave the base unauthorized would be instantly faced with bunch of military personnel chasing after u

To the people who are saying that Saito didn't visit his parents; In the ending part, he did go visit his parents with Louise at his side. They stood at the front of his house and rang the bell. <-<

I mean, his parents can wait a little while longer if he can let Louise use that world portal anytime, which she did at the ending, anyways.

I think Saito was also thinking about the fact that Halkeginia was about to be destroyed, the place he had spent lots of time in, with lots of friends (well..um...lots of GIRLfriends lo *cough*l) being in danger. Instead of being worried about my parents, I'd be worried about everyone else in Halkeginia too, if I were in that situation. <-<

9/10 'nuff said.

I'm a bit sad though. Since the moment i watched the first season next ones came (2 and) about a year after, and then I had to wait a lot longer for the final one. But at least I KNEW it's gonna be out. I just knew it, say whatever you like, it was a given.
And now that adventure is over. I'm not waiting for another season since there won't be one. The story is finished. And as much as I enjoyed it I am going to miss my ritual of checking every month if the next season has been anounced.

Thank you for this series.
