This proves only one thing for me. The japanese are absolutely terrible at endings. I dread to think of what Naruto ending is like but I bet it is disappointing like this one too.

I mean the whole fighting was for nothing really.

Yuji was the good guy, even if he killed many, flame haze were only tools of war, they only fight and fight, Yuji created a world where the guze no tomogara that were discriminated and unnacepted could live in piece and flame haze could live without fighting. He wanted to punish himself for killing so many people in the process wich shows how much his intentions were pure. Great story and ending.

The only thing i don't understand is that in the end he turned back human losing his imortallity from reiji maigo, i think, and shana will remain imortal as a flame haze.

Why the fuck did they kill Sydonay?

And the Flame Haze followed them to Xanadu? OMG, what the hell was the point of the war then? The same thing is going to happen over there.

The whole plan was to separate Tomogara from Flame Haze/Humans.

i bet this time Hazes went with them to guide them in that new world, but yes it makes no sense really

Ehhhh..... This whole series over all was pretty alright I guess. 8.5 overall for the whole series.

I didnt quite understand how Yuuji became the commander and what not it left my head blank but that ending was alright.

Could have of been better... well still 8.5/10 for all Seasons.

Well, gotta admit, this was the best season of the 3.
But to be honest, there was too many unnecessary fighting. Xanadu would be a paradise for the Denizens and bring peace to the world. Why were the Flame Hazes against this in the first place?

They were against this new world because humans would still be eaten, but they tried creating this law to be put in place so that humans wouldn't be devoured. In the end the spell didn't work of course, but the Tomogara wished for a world where they wouldn't devour also and live in peace. The Flame haze eventually went over to Xanadu some staying in the other world. As we can see Sophie, Margery some of other people Sophie were talking to on the phone also.

Anywyas, I actually loved the overall series of all 3 seasons. Despite this season being rated lower than the rest, I liked it more. 9/10

Yeah, I didn't really get the last season.. He was about to choose a girlfriend and I was ready to see who he chose, but we'll never know!

Also, Sakai was saying he is creating a new world and they are leaving to go there in the middle of the fight, he said the Flame Hazes no longer have a reason to fight, so they got scared and ran away, yet why didn't Sakai tell his army to stand down? The Tomogara were still killing the Flame Hazes right in front of Sakai as he was saying the fighting is pointless and he wants it to end.

Even if he did, the Flame Haze would still slaughter them.

Well... It was okay. Despite watching it with a Friend who is a Shanacon, with lots of alcohol and other stuff I wasn't quite convinced about this anime as a whole. Guess 7/10 is a fair thing especially since I am not in fond with those types of anime - slice of life hidden beneath swords, flame and other weirdos.
Oh, special mention to Marco. He is so op. Actually made me to watch the 3 series in a weekend. Props to Him. And Yoshida boobs. And Margery... And... Well You know where it is going.

I really didn't want Shana or ZnT to end for me so I put off watching the final seasons for over a year...Now that I've seen them though, I couldn't have been more happy about the endings.
Shana III left me confused for 3/4's of the series, but once I understood everything it was really cool noticing the little bits of action in the previous seasons that provided for the foundation of everything in the third. Wish there were a bit more flame hazes being introduced in the second though...it was a bit too slice of life I think to serve as a prequel to the third.
Overall though, damn, it's been a long ride and I'm glad that I was able to come across a series as good as Shana. I know there probably won't be, but it'd be great if there'd be an ova or movie about what's happening in Xanadu.
