This show was better than expected. The fight wasn't that bad and seeing Issei really man up after getting beaten down was awesome.

Ooh how I enjoyed seeing Raiser getting his ass handed to him. That arrogant little prick deserved all of it. Way to go, Issei. Way to go.

Well Rias' brother's queen mentioned a white dragon (won't look for further information) so I strongly assume that there will be a second season after the announced OVA. I haven't read the novel nor the manga but I'm nonetheless sure that there is *much more* to cover. Season 2 is a must at this point.
By the way, @the guy who asked about figures- just check out myfigurecollection, buddy, and search for Highschool DxD. There are a few figures that will be released this year so the sales should be warranted. I, for one, will buy 'em plus the BDs. Anyway, can't wait for a second season. :P

The ending was sweet. I really like it when they faithful to the Light Novel.

Considering they mention The Vanishing Dragon in the last episode, it really makes me wishing for another season. MORE PLEASEE!

At least they ending fight was better than Guilty Crowns lol. But in my opinion the show as a whole wasn't all that great. It went from being good to being just average.

ehh, so Issei didn't talk to Rias's father? Also they didn't really emphasize the fact this arm is no longer his, and that he would have to hide it during school or something, but whatever.

Overall it was pretty good, even though it was an ecchi show, it didn't really try too hard, I know that sounds weird considering the amount of nudity in the show, but it was actually interesting. I would like to see a season 2.

Not bad. Looking forward to the next season. This was a solid 8/10, I'd say.

very good anime, i like how they made issei using holy tools because it's kinda hard to believe for issei to beat raiser, a high level devil with his own evil pieces and raiser has way more experience fighting. Even though Issei had the sacred gear he hasn't trained much with and doesn't have much experience. I really enjoyed this anime, been a while where i can watch a good ecchi anime :)
8.5/10 for me (hope theres a 2nd season since anime covers of 2 novels)

Balance Breaker! In all it's red and armored glory. I've been waiting for this one.
I don't like the yellow whiskers though.
I like how they made the count slow even if Issei said it was just ten seconds.
Much reasonable though it was wasted on talking.
But everything else, it was pretty well done.
They mentioned the Vanishing Dragon and they made a cameo of one of the future characters so I'm really expecting a second season here. Make it happen please.

Okay Issei get Rias back in a kick ass way and now I'm just gonna wait/hoping for the 2nd season !!

I hope they adapt the rest of the novels into an anime like they did with this.

Right, like they're really going to let the Best character in the series be defiled by a womanizer who doesn't love her at all.

The ending was predictable, cliche, and unexciting, IMO.

However, they didn't fuck it up and overall it was a very nice way to wrap up a great ecchi anime with a mediocre plot.


I enjoyed this anime as much as anyone else, the ecchi was 10/10, the story was cliche and stupid at times so that gets a 5/10.

All the girls were great, except for Rias who was PERFECT and therefore she literally raises the score to this anime 1 point up.

The Main Character is nothing more than a recycled protagonist from the hundreds of anime with this exact genre, he wasn't terrible, but he wasn't great either.

Although I really didn't like Issei, in the end he played out his role pretty well and thankfully he didn't ruin the anime.


OVERALL.....7/10.....better than I expected but still nothing short of cliche nonsense with glorious ecchi to drown out the stupidity.

Well they did emphasize that, it took the magic of both Akeno and Asia to create the illusion of a normal arm and even then it took time for them to get it right. I'd think that would be a fairly important plot point in future.

I really enjoyed the show generally, only just shy of a 10/10 from me purely because it was only a 12 episode show so I'm obviously really looking forward to the announcement of a season 2 as well.

An perfect ending to a fantastic series. I've loved it since episode 1. This episode was intense and ended perfect. The suit was so badass and the kiss made it really sweet. Issei and Rias are the best.

I feel a season 2 coming very soon. Especially with mentions the of the White Dragon, and how Rias said there could be more engagements in the future, and that priest from the beginning of the season could be back. Either way, I'm really REALLY looking forward to it.

I loved this anime since episode 1. The story, the characters, everything. I give it a 10/10 and I'm looking forward to season 2!
