Wow, what an amazing surprise. This is the last time i took some people opinions to heart. What i mean...i heard atons of bad things about GC, and the thing is that i actually enjoyed it very much.Music and animations were splendid...Ayase, Daryl and Gai were great characters.
Shu and Inori suck ok, but still. There are more things i like, than things i dislike.

8/10 from me.And go to hell haters.

I enjoyed this episode, as well as this series! I has hoping for 24 episodes, where two was fillers to explain what happened thereafter, rather than just using 2:30+ minutes of the duration for breifly explaining...

I cried during the end. Was thinking, why Shu?! Why you became such a bad guy?! But anyways he changed. Inori took Shu's load and disappeared herself, though she is supposed to disappear anyways, cause mana is gone.. Happy birthday hare! Rest in peace :( she was a character that shouldn't have died...(abit of a twist, but I guess it's a way to make fans cry or get a tinge of sadness to prep them for the real thing)

Do you guys realise this anime is abit like Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann? Well, I think it is. Compare the government to the spirals, and somehow after the calm period(the place that should be stopped of as a ending, cause that's the good part-and good ending), both of the main characters(Shu & Simon) have a partner(advisor) to help them organize things, and make them less humanly(like yahiro, making the class system and all inhumanly crap that influenced Shu, and (I forgot his name) from ttgl, giving him orders and nearly executing him, after both main characters saving both the advisors from l&d troubles... There are also many, too many parts to point out there are almost the same. And also, the last part where Shu and Simon is loners cause Inori and Nia both 'died'(or disappeared due to show reasons), and have a sad life thereafter..(Shu is blind and handicapped, while Simon is a wanderer) but I still commend them for their bravery and will to life on. Anyone that agrees and has other thoughts, or GC being similar to any other anime, quote/pm me :)

I still think this is a great anime, and deserves 8.5/10(I know.. Not a legit MAL rating) due to the fact that it has many life lessons, and made us understand what is the meaning of friendship, and trying your best to do something against all odds.

Ps:haha this may become a review, but I'm lazy to do one :P

i really enjoyed the series overall and will hope for a second season but i am a bit disappointed with the ending.[/quotYeah ikr... I don't think there will be a second season, unless Shu heals and becomes superman, or another character is introduced. But my rough estimate of it coming back is.. 1%

They could've made 2 more episodes(24 eps, complete double season) and those two will be concentrated on how is their life after the incident, as mentioned in my post earlier. I still like this series nevertheless :)

I acually really liked this anime! Sure, majority of the time I didn't get wtf was going on, and I also didn't know if I was supposted to either cry or laugh at some points, but even though it was all over the place I enjoyed it pretty much.

I loved the animation, MUSIC(!!!), most of the characters and the character design. It's just the story that needs some improvement ,but plot holes didn't bother me that much. It's just the ending that i have a little problem with, but I can live with that. :)

I'm giving it a solid 8/10 for the following reasons:
1. It managed to make me really angry at times.
2. It had a satisfying ending despite making me really angry when it did.
3. The fact that it did make me so angry is a sign that I became invested in what went on, meaning they did their job keeping me interested.

Some of you rate it somewhat low because it pissed you off, nothing wrong with that. The way I see it, if a show can piss you off like that, it was a success, because it means you came to care about what happened instead of just watching for thrills. That to me is worthy of at least a "good" rating. I gave it an 8 rather than a 7 for the music and since the main character was so well developed over the course of the series. He ended off completely different from when he started and went through so many changes... That's rare these days.

THIS

remember the "Endless Eight"? it was all the authors idea for us to get mad about it...

I realized this, too. Also, Argo's role in the second 'government' half was similar to Kittan, and they even slightly resemble each other. I mean, Argo, like Kittan, finds about the government bullcrap and starts trying to knock sense into everyone. He then plays pretty big roles in the final battles, though not quite as big as sacrificing himself, he does end up protecting Ayase and everyone in the final wave of Endlaves.
Use power for the right things. At least for the things that you believe in.

Firstly I want to say I enjoyed this anime aloot. The plot twists play with your emotions pretty well and ofc Inori grew on me. As for the last episode, I was really into it when i was watching it and kinda wished for both of them to have died together. For me that would have been the most epic way to finish the series.. Overall 9/10

I'm interested to see why people say it's so terrible, does that count?

I'll probably pick it up in the near future. I just need to understand why the fanboys and haters are so dedicated.

I was avoiding this series since day 1 simply because I thought I was gonna be on a similar ride to Sacred Seven or Star Driver. I read some mix reviews, that it looked like Code Geass, some hate, etc., but after hearing a couple of tracks from the OST I decided on monday to give it a try, and let me say I wasn't disappointed but also wasn't shocked... It had an outstanding BGM, the art and animation where great. The fighting and action scenes where very good and engaging. I must say it was a pleasant ride, it had its ups and downs but in the end it was an enjoyable and good anime to watch despite having a very fast paced story-line that limited the series from what could have been more.

7/10

I find it pretty funny, but i did the same thing too. I didn't watch it until I listened to the ost. The ending was sad. Could have been better. I wanted Inori and Shu to end up together though. But it is what it is.

More like she was a crazy son of a bitch....

5.0/10 for the stuff that really makes no sense like none of the characters don't really care about Gai/Mana/Daryl or whatever it is & Ouma Shuu is still alive at the epilogue but it is unknown how he managed to do so.

CMON.... nah 7/10
disappointing series in general
it started really good, but its the ending !!!
It left me bittersweet, letting the protagonist lonely
ahhh I'll get over it but I would of prefer a real savior end
Inori and Shu dead.
Yes yes you can say they didn't want it to be a simili-CG
having the main hero dead at the end but wow dislike!!
Good music Good animation Story failed for me

I actually LOVED IT. But the ending was so ruined. I mean why did Shu not die and Inori did? That part was really fucked up. If Shu was alive and Inori isn't, it ruins the whole story. I nearly cried when Inori died, that's how wrong it is. Inori should have stayed alive. Like it how they celebrate Hare's birthday but kinda not Inori's.. But yeah, was an alright Anime.

IF SHU LIVED BECAUSE he took the guilty crown that is just weird. Bcuz Shu took up all the apocalypse virus from everyone yet he wasn't killed and Inori was..?
