I know he wanted to find out who cursed him, which makes sense why he wanted to ask them. But if he killed the magic user anyway without putting their heads in his mouth, he would have turned back anyway, right? |

Maybe he wanted to ask them questions, since he was missing his memories. |

That makes sense. He did want to know who he was and even if he did get turned back, that is no guarantee that he would get his memories back. Thanks Neiru2012 |
