Finally got around to ef - a tale of melodies. Love the soundtrack, story, art, perfection.

I simply can't compare it to the first. It is essentially a continuation of memories, and it is essentially all one series from two- excuse me, four viewpoints. Or ten? It sorta sees from everybody. 10/10, favorite series yet of all time in the past six months, when I started anime lol.

I started Arakawa Under The Bridge too. It's funny as hell, and not really romantic, go figure, but I like the series a lot. Such a random and unique story, and it draws me in by my curiosity in the odd anime out there. I just with that never occurred with Hen Zemi.... D':

Next I watch Shuffle!, then... I forgot the order I planned. I believe it was Itazura na Kiss. I've been wanting to see that anyway. Still no Koi Kaze found, oh well.

Yeah I've rewatched that suicide scene like a million times along with the ef - memories scene when Hiro goes around town till he gets to the right pay phone. I loved how clingy Primula is, haha. I knew right away that Rin wasn't going to choose Nerine or Sia because it'd be a matter of picking one over the other, but between Kaede and Asa I thought it was anyone's game. I wouldn't have minded an arc with Kareha XD

Kareha would have been fun to see, I agree.

I'm not really in romance mode atm anymore. I'm starting Kill Me Baby, MM!, Boogiepop Phantom, and Higurashi next. I can finish the first three in days. I may want to take the creepiness of Higurashi slow. Absorb that twisted feeling, like in School Days.

It seems you're the only one who really looks into this, but oh well. Anybody else is free to post, ya know! We need to revive this club a bit more. At least we have activity.

True, I forgot about how Rin looked at Kaede as a sister. It was a big plot twist to me learning about her past with him so I thought there was a potential romantic relationship that could sprout between them due to Kaede's attitude change towards Rin.

Haha, yeah, I know what you mean, I was on a shounen spree after Amagami SS+ ended, but with the new airing anime out I got hooked again to romancc thank to Sankarea and Tasogare Otome x Amnesia.

Lol, not much activity that goes on in this club so that's the main reason why. I'm always up to discuss romance :D

Gotta say, there are some interesting romances airing this season, whether it be the cute Acchi Kocchi, the ghost/zombie shows of Dusk Maiden of Amnesia and Sankarea, or the mature and musical Sakamichi no Apollon. Ano Natsu de Matteru from last season was pretty good too, making for a nice throwback to the Toradora! days.

@StyleF1re - Not to mention Mysterious Girlfriend X! If you haven't given that a try, and have the intestinal fortitude to get past the drool, it is one of the very best romances around! Quirky, off-beat, a bit edgy, but ultimately surprisingly sweet!

Haven't heard of any of those, so I should look into them.

I just finished Hatsukoi Limited. It was rather surprising how well done it is. There wasn't any real plot twists or anything, but it kept my interest just fine. An anime is decent alone if you can have room for characterization of all those characters in 12 episodes, which this did. It was a lot funnier than I ever expected as well. I got quite a few good laughs in it. Anyone else seen this?

I watched Hatsukoi Limited, but it was quite some time ago and I can't really remember a whole lot about it.

Oh. It wasn't mind-blowing, but if you're that gappy on what happened in it, it is worth rewatching.

I'm still slowly getting a pile of anime to marathon next. I have yet to even get Itazura na Kiss ready to watch.... Eventually....

I'm also looking into Kimi ni Todoke and Koi Kaze on that note. I found Kimi ni Todoke once in a file format my computer can't decently run. I luckily found a new source for Itazura that isn't mkv format.

Kimi ni todokoe is well worth a watch the first season is honestly quiet great sawako or (sadako) you really get to see her change as a person because of kazehaya, the second season is a little slow at times but a great continuation of the first season and a really good ending at that. ^_^

The whole series is kinda short, and I'm not a fan of the "I'm too timid to confess my feelings" sorta anime, but the drama with the friendship bonds and the ending of season 2 made it a worthy anime. Some of the drama had some tear-jerker moments if I recall right.

Well, "I'm too timid to confess my feelings" can be applied to Lovely Complex, and that wasn't quite the same.

I finally watched Itazura na Kiss yesterday. Lag time, huh? I planned to see it around two months ago. It reminded me of Clannad: After Story as it filled in that "and then what?" after they finally confess their feelings or whatever.

What else did you think of it? I love that series, favorite drama along side my favorite series.

The comedy was fun, and the drama was worthwhile, but what stood out is how it was presented. It wasn't "too shy to confess my feelings" or "he's/she's too thickheaded to $@%@# get it!" Then again, I suppose that it really isn't THAT much different. Now it's "He's too thickheaded to care anyways."

I like how it didn't just end on episode 14, but episode 25 seemed random, making it appear that there are supposed to be more episodes. I couldn't argue with another 5 or so.

Today I'll be watching PetoPeto-san, which I guess is a romance in some way, so I'll have another update soon as well.

I thought it was a nice couple development between the two. That series has some of my favorite romance quotes, and what I especially liked is how it shows how with enough push and shove, you can get the one you like to like you back. Don't really remember what the specific episodes are off the top of my head, but I felt it was a pretty complete series. There's been three dramas made out of it (I've watched half of the kdrama) so it's pretty popular, lol.

Finished PetoPeto-san, which is a romance, though loosely. Regarding the ending,
If there were a second season continuing off the end of this, I'd have liked it a lot more in general.

Tomorrow isn't a romance anime, Macademi WAsshoi, but next marathon I'll have at least three. Kimi ni Todoke, Koi Kaze, Hidamari Sketch, and one I STILL CAN NEVER REMEMBER THE NAME OF are already decided. Then I'll have two others at random.

I just finished watching Highschool DxD, and it was a pretty good action/romance anime. If you've seen nogizaka haruka no himitsu (another romance i highly recommend), it has a similar kind of "higher vs. lower social class" thing going for it. Ecchi to a high degree, but i found it tasteful and very playful when it comes to making romance animes never dry.

I haven't seen Highschool DxD, but "ecchi to a high degree" is something you learn to get used to when you watch too much anime. (by normal standards, not mine.)

I actually thought that Highschool DxD had distasteful ecchi - though it was one of the first anime's apart from Pokemon I ever watched.

In terms of story it could have been much better. 13 episodes might be enough to develop one relationship but you could have done a lot more in terms of the other two girls and also the really little girl.
