as one of those who helped YuruYuri to get second season in one possible way: buying it
I find this thread a bit weird... you want it to get second season, help in it.
How else they would do it? By reading some forum :D come on... they are sometimes dumb but there are limits to it.

you know all the people dont have the resources or the money to buy expensive stuff but still want to watch good things that are around. I think the internet with free stuff all around helps for them in some manner.
Plus this thread was opened just to know what the predictions of the people here are. People here have been watching anime since many years (atleast from what i have seen they have watched more than i have) So I dont get what's weird in asking?

YuruYuri sold well, this one not.
YY will get second season, this will not - unless they are doing to boost manga sales than maybe.
and no saying that this was amazing series will change this - BTW and I admit it was nice if you cut parts with Arata.

You know, the whole "no money" thing doesn't really change anything. Unless people buy the volumes (both DVD and manga), the producers won't see any value in investing in a second season. If you truly want a second season, the answer is to support the series financially and show the people in charge that there is demand.

Ayase Chihaya is the moe-st character of these two seasons. It's just unorthodox.

Uh, and Misaki Mei.

if you want to hear the voice of arata again watch KIMI NO IRU MACHI, it has good romance story. i think is better than chihayafuru.

Sadly, I don't think it will. I agree with everyone here who is frustrated with silly series that get at least 2+ seasons and something sweet and charming like Chihayafuru doesn't.

I agree with ya'll but the thing is unless there is an announcement, we won't know for sure.

Considering how the Japanese were the ones who produced Chihayafuru, it's quite rude and inconsiderate of you to insult them by calling them all "retards and virgins." By saying that, you're also insulting Yuki Suetsugu herself.

Well, I really don't think that those who aren't bying the manga or the DVDs have any right to complain. I'm one of the ones who are penniles, I don't have enough money to buy myself a lollipop, what to talk about a DVD, but a good chunk of non-Japanese Chihayafuru watchers DO have money, they are just too stingy to spend it :/

So, yeah... I don't think we have the right to complain. Those who have bought the DVDs can, but everybody else...

quick, edit the episodes and throw in some panty shots, i dont care, if its needs that to get a second season then go ahead!

this anime is so amazing. i dont see why its not liked?! i dont want to have to go to the manga, i want to see this in motion!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Don't even compare these two series, that's an insult to Chihayafuru.

I sincerely hope that it gets a second season, I somehow doubt it'll happen however.
