THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- July 27, 2012, there's theme song album. Spring time, and the uncle found the old camera. He said once it got fixed, he want to take photos for 3 of them. lol @ youkais in his room, and nyanko-sensei are fallen asleep while drunk. He found a photo of his parents. Nature Ramune water trip the day after. One of the relatives calling him to visit his old house before someone living there. He's cute for posting his photos with them in the drawer. Natsume remembering the time with his father in that house, sometimes very sad. lol @ being adventurous for the trip. He got trapped by the youkai, and lost the photo. Tanuma trying to help him. They ended up searching for the photos instead of searching the water. Then meeting two girls, who searches for the same music CD. He really want to see the house one last time, and the aunt approved. |

I was worried that we were not going to see the picture but I'm glad that was not the case. Her mom does look like him but he got his hair color from his dad. Some how it feels like this is setting things up for the ending. But at least we'll get to see another girl next week and perhaps a romantic interest this time. |

Natsume's dad is so cute, just like an older Natsume! ^_^ And yet again, Natsume never fails to make me tear up.. young Natsume alone and crying, I wish someone were beside him to comfort him. Natsume speaking up for what he wanted for once, to see the house one last time.. It gave the ending such a bittersweet feeling.. Next episode - hurry hurry! ![]() |

Oh god their parents look so kind, and his father is so alike to Natsume! Beautiful episode, I almost cried... I'm so happy to see Natsume like that. Next week will lead me to tears, I remember those chapters in the manga, I'm glad we're finishing the season with them 10/10 episode. Also, yay for Taki! ClementIV said: . <3 Loved it! And does anyone know when this season will end? It's traditionally been 13 episodes, but there wasn't anything inputed yet so I hope it'll last longer :) It looks like we're nearing a kind of 'climax' though with Natsume's house. I just hope it won't be the end :/ And I just realized that Natsume's hair is really growing out. Oh, and :P. Nyanko-sensei and Natsume brushing together was adorable <3 5/5 - To the new Gintama' episode! :D Tomoya said: Nagisa, I found it. I finally found it. Something only I can protect. The precious thing only I can protect. It was...right here. |

It might be possible that there is enough to continue into Spring season, depending on how well we have caught up with the Manga (I haven't read it so I don't know where we are.) Looking forward to next weeks episode, although considering I cried during this one I expect plenty of waterworks for the visit to the old house. In my next life I want to collide at the corner with the cute transfer student carrying a piece of toast in her mouth......rodac Must...not...feed...trolls.... |

Actually I belive Shi is only 13 episodes, because Kimi to Boku. 2 is coming back on the same date and time (TV Tokyo) that Shi is currently airing, next month. Two awesome slice of life series passing the baton to each other. I'm now bumping Shi to a 10/10 overall, i'm literally surprised if there's anyone who's giving this a 7 or lower by this point how can you not LOVE this series? This show loves to start playing the ED song as a lead-out, but it works so well when A) the scene was heartwarming sweet and B) the song is heartwarming sweet My Blog: Oasis Crossing ~The Book of Friends~ Forum Avatar: Fram Nara from Gundam AGE |

Loved this episode. It was awesome to finally delve deeper into the past rather than pushing forward. I loved how Tanuma pointed out to Natsume how Natsume has been lying (to others and himself) this whole time, burying his feelings deeper and deeper, only to realize what he really does want and need. Memories of loved ones are so precious, and Natsume only has a few so I felt so sad for him when he was willing himself to forget to cover up his pain. Oh, Natsume ;A; I'm glad that it looks like we'll see Natsume travel to his parents' house in the next episode~ I was worried they'd skip over it. |

So heartwarming! Could't have asked for more. Nishimura, Kitamoto are so nice. It's amazing how often we get to see all six of them together in recent episodes. Previously, it was just Nishimura, Kitamoto and Sasada shown together, while Tanuma and Taki were shown in different circumstances, because the latter two are somehow related to Natsume's ability to see things that normal people cannot. But now, the four of them go on a boy's adventure and the two girls decide to share the music between themselves, more importantly, letting us know that their taste in music is same and so they have similar interest, something that helps people come closer. Shigeru-san's wanting to take a picture of all three of them was reassuring, that Natsume is so important to him. While Touko-san, probably the nicest mother figure in any anime showing her concern, either could be in the fear of Natsume leaving them or worried that Natsume's might be feeling sad as his past came up. Natsume's closet. He had pictures of all six of them together from those festive periods in their school showed how much he cares about his friends now. That was an amazing way to show his sweet side of cherishing his friends. Natsume sitting on his father's lap, while his father telling him how his mother wanted them to be happy, and Natsume crying alone was so sad. But I was really looking forward to see his parents, and I am so glad they showed the picture. Nishimura is a real bro for taking a peek, somehow I feel Natsume wouldn't have shared it with everyone if he didn't say he took a peek. 10/10 Best Natsume season ever. The only second anime that actually got better by several folds as seasons passed by. The other being obviously, this. |

Natsume Yuujinchou is a fairly low-key, simple anime that evokes the saddest yet purest emotions ever. Not any story can do this, save for a couple. Extremely well-done, as always. Yuki Midorikawa will always be one of my favorite mangakas. I applaud Brains Base for animating her gorgeous work for four seasons now. I am grateful. |
