My bad, they're all blending together lately.
Yeah I was surprised to see Marcello in the middle of an otherwise young prospect pool. Surprised they didnt opt to put him in the TUF Brazil season.... wonder what that cast will be like as well since thats coming soon.

WOW... After watching episode 2... I can see how scared everyone is of Justin Lawrence. 7 Dudes and not one raised their hand. Justin must be the real deal.

Nice KO with a knee by Vick as well.

Lawrence vs Marcello this week, nice way of finding out who the top guy on the cast is.

Have not really been watching the season but caught last nights ep which had the 2 semifinal matches.
Finals for next Friday are Michael Chiesa (7-0) vs Al Iaquinta (5-1-1)

Also on the finale card is Jake Ellenberger vs Martin Kampmann.

I see Al Iaquinta winning it, he's got enough wrestling under his belt to be able to deal with Chiesa.

As for the Ellenberger vs Kampmann fight- everyone knows I'm a Ellenberger fan so I'm picking him to win by KO with his ridiculous power in the first or second round. If it goes into the later rounds then Kampann has the advantage due to Jake's Gas tank but it could have improved, have to wait and see.

Mike Chiesa won with a first round RNC putting Iaquinta to sleep. Avoided the strikes and just grabbed him and pulled him down eventually getting the back. Pretty anti-climactic but smart gameplan.

Smart gameplan but won't get him that far in the upper level fighters in the UFC for sure

I didn't watch this season of the Ultimate Fighter, because of how scripted everything seemed to be between Faber and Cruz. I can't say I was too impressed but what I saw between either of the two finalists this time around. Hope I see improvement fast.

Yeah I dont expect much either from this season. They have a couple nice prospects in Lawerence and Jury but they're still years away.

Chiesa actually reminds me a little of Matt Horwhich with his gameplan of going forward and grabbing you to the ground. He's got to expand or he wont last especially the way the UFC matches the TUF winners up lately.

Lawrence I think could have won it if he didn't have such a ego and not listening to his coaches in the show but still years away from making a impact.

Chiesa will struggle in the LW division just because there are black belts in BJJ, good strikers and better wrestlers than him.

Well I would not be surprised if they decided to match up Chiesa with someone like Varner.

Yeah lightweight is the worst division for these guys to be walking into. There is no real safe way to go up the ladder.
They'll probably bring in some debuting guys or other TUF guys to fight them.

Yeah if it was the FW division would have been alot better for them, LW is just a shark tank for them.

Yeah probably, but you never know with the matchmaking.
