High sales is usually a good sign for hoping a new season.

I hope it will be released in 4th Q 2012 or first half of 2013.

What do you guys think? OF COURSE! Highschool DxD is probably (in my opinion) one of the best Animes ever made. It's just amazing, great characters, awesome storyline and... BOOBS!

We first have to wait that the OVA comes out, next the season. GOD, I CAN'T WAIT!

Gonna agree that it needs a season 2..

Still nid more not because of the ecchi scenes, but the story and action is great

especially in the ending when they kept saying the vanishing dragon, and not showing it

i read the light novels and now i really, really am hoping for a second season now, this season only covered the first 2 volumes and the volumes after it are just epic and brings in the main plot and more backstory of the characters and has better character development

great show that looked like it would be just another ecchi mess, but turned out to be a really compelling ecchi piece of genius - season 2 is just what the world needs!

I read a comment on Youtube saying that the second season was confirmed. The user apparently saw/read an interview between the reporters and the creators. Don't trust me on this though.

If a second season WAS to come out, then it would come out after September.

In my mind, season 2 is confirmed :D... It's just painful to have to wait another year... I would try to support by buying BD but one BD is like more than $50... this anime business is a deal or bust lol

Nope, they are not mad, thus we'll have another season.

I think the second season of DxD will come out in 2013 somewhere near January because thats when the first season came out…. Also there will probably be some information on season 2 in the OVA that is comming this September, also there will need to be 6 specials episodes/OAV’s and right now there are 5 specials episodes and soon there will be a OVA so probably somewhere after the OVA there will be another special episode or season 2 will come out. Well thats my opinion… :/

This is 1 of the best animes i have ever seen!
Not 1 of the best of the Echi animes its 1 of the best in total!
sadly its hard to believe that there will be a second season.
i saw pretty much animes that ended in the middle and no season 2(my mal not updated).is there a way to make the chances for second season higher?
like buying the series?and something more?
maybe we should write E-mail to the author of the anime and talk to him?

There might be a season 2 but that's only if they think it'll make profit.

I really reckon there will be a second series, hinting at something at the end of a series and then never following it up will be kind of dodgy, however I guess that not following up is not unheard of. All we can really do is hope.
