The match of Tezuka x Yamato was nice. Tezuka got glowy!

Atobe is just pure love. Seriously, I'm only watching it to see his epicness.

Finally some tennis, though these matches seem to have lost any sort of tension they once had. Still, one of the better episodes.

I kinda wanted to see the two matches before Tezuka's...I wanted to see Shiraishi take off the bandages on his arm...thats was so cool in the manga.

Wow, and there I thought, I couldn't find this adaption any more embarassing.
They wasted so much time, with that mountain climbing, stealth mission and so on nonsense, but skip Krauser's, as well as Kirihara's + Shiraichi's matches? Two of the few things, that I found to be pretty good in the manga? To hell with that.

Ugh why skip stuff like that, if you're gonna cut stuff, cut the loser camp.....
Anyways, good depiction of Tez vs. Yama and Atobe goin win attitude.

It was a nice match between Tez vs. Yamato. But I kind of wish I could see the others match.
I wholeheartedly agreeing that they totally wasted many times on the mountain. But more than that, they actually should have this series 26 episodes long...

The cut scenes will probably be included in the Blu-ray only episodes.

I second this. Shiraishi was pretty much the only reason why I was still watching this shitty adaption...

I also hated the mountain episodes. So long and drawn out while the REAL U-17 camp wasn't shown xDD They could have just kept everyone in the camp -_-"

I don't know if anyone else already noticed this, but at the scene after Tezuka wins the match, Echizen says "Tschüs". The translators translated this as "Hey", but Tschüs is actually how you say "Bye" in German. I think Echizen is again displaying his knowledge of different languages and is referring to the fact that Tezuka is going to become part of the German tennis team.

i was really looking forward to akaya&shiraishi and liliadent(or what ever his name was...can remember it clearly:D) match...why in the world they skipped it ???
anyway...yamato tezuka match was good...and i'm looking forward to atobe Vs irie match..since it's my fave match from shin puri...hope it make up for cut scenes in this episode...

da fuq man... I want to see the damn matches, not just the finishing blow and an announcement -.- I was looking forward to Kirihara's doubles... wtf. meh.

After replaying the scene few times, he actually did say that. At first I thought that it was his chissu, but it was a bit weird saying "Yo" and walking away. Guess the translator mistook it for chissu too.

Can't believe they skipped through Kirihara Shiraishi double match, and also that first single match.. Very much feeling disappointed!
