Hey I don't know if any of you noticed, but when the scientist that was talking to the businessman/politician towards the end said mankind had origins on mars. The businessman/politician responds, "Mankind had origins in Japan?!" I don't know if that was a translation error due to the fact that Shinsen subs sucks shit, but I fucking burst out laughing when I read that.

Wow... just wow...

This comedy is epic, the last time I laughed so hard was when I was watching Detroit Metal City and Fumoffu. xD

I have to admit, I was kind of into it at the beginning, but then once they started to fight that monster it all went down hill. It felt unfinished in the end, which made it feel pointless too. Oh, and what was up with them playing symphony tracks during the battle?

I didn't totally despise it, but I do feel like I wasted my time on it.

I watched it for the lulz, and that's what I ended up doing. Good job. ^^

I still have no idea what I just watched. It was like starting Bleach or Naruto at episode 90 instead of episode 1. Nothing in Mars of Destruction made sense or was explained very well. The plot itself and the "twist" at the end were just plain stupid. If I ever wanted to turn someone off of anime, I'd show them this mess. I couldn't even laugh at how bad this anime was.

To be honest, I thought it has some good idea like the fact that humanity was actually the martian and the ancient was actually the earthlings. It could have been a good surprise at the end but this episode really bored me too much that I couldn't be surprised at all.
The universe wasn't well-introduced like Pale Cocoon did in one episode : they really should have explained how all the gorvenment reacts with the evasion of the Ancient.
The fighting scenes and the mecha design were really laughable but it didn't made me laugh at all. I was just bored.
There were too much characters and we didn't had the time to get attached to them or to learn anything about them.

Overral I give a 1, cause it just bored me, I didn't laughed at all.
The only good thing about this OAV, was the OST, they used some good sountracks especially the classical ones.

Maybe it could have been better if it was longer and didn't only focused on fighting scene rather than introducing the universe and explaining the plot holes.
And if there were less characters.

Oh, how I lol'd when the girl got her head blown off, then later on the doctor says "this one's totally gone".

Priceless!

As most of you, I had to see MAL's worst anime. I must say that it was pretty boring besides the scenes mentioned above. A bad parody of Evangelion. It doesn't even deserve a horrible, it's just bad.
Also, what made me laugh was the classic music xd Itself it's beautiful, but it totally didn't fit!

I thought I could at least get some laughs, but no. I just wasted 20 mins of my time.
"It will be alright. All lifeforms have the power to restore themselves and the wish to live. If you decide to live, anywhere can be heaven, because you're alive. There will be chances to be happy everywhere. As long as the Sun, Moon and Earth exist...it will be alright."

I saw it. I liked it.

It wasn't that bad. What can you expect in a one episode long series?
They did a good job. :)

It was bad, but I believe there must be worse anime out there. It didn't bore me like watching Endless Eight for 5th/6th/7th time did, for one, although they just about managed to fit in every cliche I could think of in those 20 minutes in a package with some poor animation, classical music that doesn't match the scene and some poor voice acting.

You can do a lot in 10-20 minutes. Just watch Kigeki or La Maison en Petits Cubes if you want proof of that.
If you want MAL to be a place where all Japanese stop-motion can be found then please join my club .
