According to Cinema Today, Tezuka Productions have made an option contract with film director Justin Lin regarding the live action film rights of Tezuka Osamu's manga "Dororo". Another director Ernesto Foronda has also revealed on Indiewire.com that he has been involved in the project. A Japanese live action movie of Dororo was premiered in 2007. dont know what to feel disgust or joy >.< we all know hollywood ruins any adaption to do with anime/manga/games i think live actions should just stay to the japanese film company's traditional japanese settings prior the end of tokugawa reign shouldent have americans or english in them xD  I signed my screen and now its all smeary "When you meet your God tell him to leave me alone." check out my bloghttp://corpse69.wordpress.com/ fix MAL already |

could be amazing, but probably will be horrible - dororo is one of the most genius works by the greatest genius of manga, and is also very cinematic, but i have serious doubts it could be done right by almost any director (short of akira kurosawa, who happens to be dead).........also, if you haven't read dororo, do right now!!!  |

Nnnnnnnnnnnnn, this is the work of Osamu Tezuka falling into the hand of the guy who made the Fast and The Furious movies. This will not turn out good. I won't pretend I know how rich the story of this particular work is, but I do know how rich the story in the fast and the furious movies are not. Bored and looking for something to read? the movie studios reactions Gosh were did all this money come from my 11 main things i rate on 1 Impact on Impact on industry both the anime and Original Manga had 2 TV Ratings in Japan [ Gross for movies Unit sales for OVAs 3 Manga Ka of the Sourcework 4 how loyal the anime stayed to its source how well the compare to other big name in its genre 5 Seiyuu casting [ how many i know by voice i use the royal I here ] 6 Impact on General Pop Culture in Japan and the West 7 Impact on Otaku Culture in Japan and the West 8 Music[ Instrumentation] 9 merchandise sales 10 art style 11 Studio who produced the anime[ and what thay have done for the industry] |
