Some of you guys automatically believe that this manga will have a sequel or spin-off....

I guess I'm the ONLY one that doesn't believe that.

Sorry, but I've seen other manga end just like this....(Where nothing is solved and there's just a bunch of questions)...and there is NO sequel or spin-off.

I know Negmia is very popular, but if Ken wanted to do a Sequel, why would he finish this manga???

Why not just continue it until it is properly finished???

Oh well, personally I don't really care if there is a spin-off or sequel, Negima's has been so bad for the past 2 years I can't really expect something good at this point.

All thoughts or a proper ending or no aside, I really felt like a proud dad to see Yue all grown up and being a lazy graduate!

I wouldnt mind this breaking down into tales of Mars or something and just have a collection of short stories about each of the girls and the transforming solar system.

1- Negima is a popular work in jump and popular manga in jump aren't allowed to end until they drop a lot in popularity. The very fact that Ken was allowed to end his manga pretty much imply that Ken have something else up his ass be it a sequel/spin off manga or a totally new original manga serie.

2- There's thing you can do in a spin off manga that you can't really do in the manga it's deviated from. The manga is called Mahou sensei negima and the name lost it's purpose ever since the students graduated and Negi stopped being a teacher.
Also a spin off manga allow you to change the way the story is told, the mains characters and give a fresh new feeling to it, it also serve as a good marketing value. On another note a spin-off manga does not have to follow on it's predecessor's storyline. Basically it does not have to fit the hole in the main serie even though it would be pretty much cheap not to.

Ken focusing especially on Yue's life after all these event with a damn follow up chapter as the two final chapter on the manga has a very good chance of opening up a spin off manga. If he planned on ending everything here he would had made better use of these last two chapter.

Now look, I never read Negima expecting anything good, and it's been pretty bad at times, but this was utter shit.

Didn't expect Yue to be doing this kind of business but at least we got Yue fanservice so it's all cool. Very bad placement for this chapter though. >_>

Let's just hope for a good last chapter.

People should remember that Ken's style is randomness and fanservice.
Most people here started to read Negima when it was in mahou sekai arc and probably forgot that fanservice and randomness were omnipresents before that.

Negima was not meant to be a serious shonen with a detailled plot from the start and I beleive that Ken's mistake was to try to turn it that way.
Ken should return to his roots while making use of the world he built in negima and a spin off manga might be the key to that.

Ken is a man of many narrative talents. Certainly his writing has always had a liberal dose of humor, but I don't think we can write him off as "His style is randomness and fanservice" as if the rest of what he did doesn't count. He's proficient at character growth. That dates all the way back to Love Hina. He's proficient in battle-shonen and more serious plots. This manga has been all of these things, and to simply leave the plot and characters of the manga unattended in the conclusion of the comic in favor of gags and fanservice isn't excusable simply by nature of the fact that both have always been a large part of the series.

FYI, Negima isn't in Jump.

I see, still doesn't change that all popular manga magazine work with the same recipe.

They say that if you have nothing good to say about something, it's better to say nothing.

They can go fuck themselves. There's absolutely nothing wrong with acknowledging negativity. I'd comment if the waiter brought me my food uncooked and I'll comment if the writer sends us an ending unwritten. I'll comment if the weather is unfavorable and I'll comment if my reading experience was unenjoyable. It's called motherfucking conversation. Actual people don't just shut up when bad things happen. I don't know what world they even live in where the car breaks down and everyone just avoids the subject while someone works on taking care of the situation in absolute silence.

The troll is strong in Akamatsu-sensei. Seriously, I can see him handing this to his editor with a U MAD face.

Why dont we wait till chapter 355 to voice our opinions and then say what we like and hate about what Ken did...

Because not everyone goes with 'The end justify the means'. People has right to comment on this chapter if they want.

Also I'm one that wish for a spin off manga continuing on Yue's life as a magic detective. Don't disapoint me Ken, you did it much enough lately.
