best/biggest storyline in an anime?

Asking for the 'best' storyline is a highly subjective and ambiguous matter.

However, if I were to offer an opinion it would most definitely be Legend of the Galactic Heroes for the sheer vastness of it.

In terms of a great heroes journey on an epic scale, One Piece totally. It's the whole reason I love it so much despite all its flaws.

Hm, I'd have to go with the Fate series (Zero, Stay Night, and Hollow Ataraxia are kind of one big story). But I'm basing this off the light novels and visual novels that the animes are based off of.

Hmm.. Don't really know but I guess from what I have watched.

Best: FMA:B

As for biggest: One Piece. If I watched Detective Conan it would be that instead. lol

I haven't gotten around to watch LOGH yet but I probably will pick it up this week since it's so highly praised.
