| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- I found this episode to be a rich mixture of slice of life, life struggles (Chris x Genjurou) and action nice with a new Noise form. EXCELLENT SETUP! I loved it. One of the good things is the mixture it involved and pacing of it. It was perhaps not the best pacing but it got me satisfied. Hibiki totally excelled herself with new moves that show she has been training in the background. For one the following move,  Was in combo with the moves in the spoiler That’s not to mention she unbalanced the Noise with a Earth Shock Wave attack. In the spoiler Add to that Miss Flash that charges and kills all Noise in the spoiler Furthermore Tsubasa's singing + BG fights.....that is another excellence that perhaps was better than the Kanade/Tsubasa concert. Because singing and fighting were much better put out. It’s to further mention that Tsubasa in the following,  Not only got me on T_T but hearing Kanade’s voice that forgives collapsed me so emotional it’s like a large impact hits me. It was very emotional to say the least. I shall leave it that. Kanade :( Maybe more later. | Okay... Noises are attacking in one part of not so big city and what is happening in other? Festival :D security at it's finest I might say and monster which looks like a powerplant?! WTF o.O yet it was quite nice and lazy episode I really liked it plus Tsubasa singing was very good (plus Hibiki NOT singing) |

| Not to rain on Tsubasas dream but I hardly see her having any great success on a international stage. Very small niche audience that would be willing to listen to her Jap-pop I'd imagine and since native Japanese people simply can't speak, let alone sing in proper English there is no point in going for that route either^^ Was nice seeing Hibiki kick some ass though (^.^) |

| The "date" with Tsubasa was cute to watch and later on we got great singing and a great battle! One of the best episodes so far. =) |

| I got a bad feeling Tsubasa is being setup. I really do. This episode seemed to be building her up so high that i think this whole "international" touring thing is a rouse. Remember the evil foreign group that was working with Mistress Blondie was English too. I can't ever see a main character just "going away" in a short series. Chris needs to let go of the hate. But i get the feeling as soon as she does she'll get killed off too. |

| The commander is too old for silly stuff like that, and Chris probably would have had more problems if he didn't do it, as she only accepted the food once he took a bite. But she is in a really awkward situation. If you have to remind yourself that the person you just helped is the enemy, there is clearly something wrong. But i loved when she jumped out of the window, especially the pose. Jumping upside-down, backwards out of a 10-15 story building, and only while falling starting the transformation. I wonder how she got enough speed to crash through the window while jumping, turning around and upside down and pulling up her knees between where she stood and the window, as the room wasn't that big. Without using Symphogear, they aren't special, and i doubt she trained as much as Hibiki. I also agree that there might very well be something up with Tsubasas new international manager, or at least, someone else using this as chance to do who knows what, kidnap her, get some more Noise to rampage in Japan while she is away, who knows. Assuming he is really interested in her as a "ordinary" singer, she shouldn't have problems finding an audience though, he is not a random guy, but a well known person and head of a big company. If he wants to make her a star outside of Japan, he surely has the means to. And seeing that half the comment here are about that they like Nana Mizuki singing..the audience is already there.. |
