Does anyone know of a place that lists how all the (or well, ones that sold enough to rank) various Vocaloid releases have sold? I haven't done a lot of research but it really seems like Vocalodream has to be one of the best selling of the various compilation discs. I guess leading off with Senbonzakura and Kagerou Days didn't exactly hurt its prospects. I'm pretty sure the 100k+ the debut supercell album sold is still the highest as far as albums go, but that wasn't a compilation disc like this Vocalo-* stuff.

They never said anything about it openly, no. Just one day all of a sudden S&H behavior changed. I think it took place in mid-to-late November going by when the shift in my orders' behavior occurred.
Yeah, I hadn't ordered anything since those Natsume BDs, so that would fit with my scenario. I order from them sporadically, so I didn't have many previous orders to go by and couldn't quite figure out what exactly had happened.

The other change they made back in late 2009 or early 2010 was to no longer allow combining of orders. I've heard people say that option has returned (haven't attempted it myself yet), but not for all orders, so it's hit or miss.
This is really interesting and good to know. I've never found myself needing it, but now I'll keep in mind it isn't something to expect.

wee my favorites heheh
In the end all things die, and all things are forgotten. It may take 1 day or a thousand years, but our names, deeds, and very existences will vanish unto dust in the end. From dust man came and to dust he returns.

But while man forgets, that which is beyond man remembers. Our true legacy lies not in the annals of history but the formless memories of creation itself. While civilizations rise and fall with the wind, God will never forget

It makes me happy to see Natsume and Hotarubi there. Brain's Base and Midorikawa are a great combination.

The top seller of all the Vocaloid related CDs is "Vocalonexus", which was sold 81,988 copies. The total sales of the Vocaloid CDs are estimated to be 500,000 copies. 16 vocaolid CDs were sold more than 10,000 copies.

Ah, Vocalonexus. Interesting. I do know that supercell was certified gold for 100,000 shipped. According to Wiki/Oricon, it passed 70k after a few weeks, and the gold cert was only about 3 months later in June 2009, so it's definitely sold through that much by now, but maybe not officially recorded in Oricon rankings. Wonder if it made any 2009 best selling album charts.

G4U sales:
Vol. 1: n/a (part of full game release)
Vol. 2: 15,688
Vol. 3: 18,992
Vol. 4: 18,179

http://yaraon.blog109.fc2.com/blog-entry-7733.html

Vol. 5: 17,038

So down about 1100, but the BD-only version was up about 2000, so it did gain some first week sales. 26,092 total combined for Vol. 5 first week.

Season 2 for both of these when?

Well both still have enough plot material left for a second season especially Haganai, but Idolm@ster's ending leaves room for a 12-13 ep S2, providing A-1 don't screw up and make the setting of the second season a year after the 1st season and remove Azusa entirely from the series, leave my dear Azusa alone she's still young.

iDOLM@STER seems like a fairly easy franchise to create original or mostly-original material for. Just give us some fun songs, danketsu, girl bonding, and a rival or two (but please no more Kuroi-shachou argh, at least Jupiter were handled pretty well) and pretty much any competently written scenario should be a total blast (and instant import from me, iM@S was my #2 show of 2011 after all).

Hm? Down, yes, but not in any unusual way. It's a very typical progression from a discounted Vol. 1 through subsequent volumes for two cour anime. If anything it fared better (in some cases a lot better) in it's Vol. 1 to Vol. 2 drop than many other shows with discounted Vol. 1s. First week sales for Vol. 4 are down slightly less than 8% from the first week for Vol. 3, which is also not bad.

All pretty normal so far.
