Totally creeped out by this episode, but it was another well done episode. All I got to say is thank God I didn't see this at night, haha.
It's official. Guren no Yumiya is the Japanese version of Guile's theme.

I was ever so slightly creeped out at the end, when Pierrot was crying for his mother. It sent a chill down my spine

Same here. D: Mad Pierrot just freaked me out from the start.

And what a way to perpetuate people's fears of clowns and theme parks at night. XD

D: You're not helping. xD

The creepiest part for me was when Spike shot up the theme park Pluto sailor character and it kept trying to talk and then he kicked in its face till it fell in the ground and STILL was trying to move and talk with his face bashed in. o_o

You that pluto scene scared me xD
So the persons or cat who experimented on spike also experimented on pierrot
I could not help but feel sad when he started crying and asking for his mon :'(

Wow that Mad Pierrot reminded me of a villain out of a Quentin Tarantino/Robert Rodriguez movie.

God, that episode was terribly painful to sit through.

before i saw his face i said "that's the penguin!" but he's much better than the penguin in that, in the end, i sort of felt sorry for him, kind of sad to see him go... :'(

He has to be based in the penguin, he even uses a walking baton as a weapon, which is similar to an umbrella.

Pierrot Le Fou (the episode and the character) was influenced by French film noir, David Lynch and Batman The Animated Series. Mainly the Batman villains The Penguin and The Joker.

There's also some Mary Poppins in there...

These influences make it one of the most visually striking and interesting episodes of Cowboy Bebop to me

I guess it was best to put him out of his misery in the end :/
It's sad he was just a tormented child...

Whoa. This episode has to have one of the coolest villains of the entire series, he was really well-done. The action scenes were really great too and Pierrot's history was a very good explanation for his twisted behaviour. 9/10
