On anime websites there was always Bleach, Naruto and One Piece somewhere in the most popular, top favorites or pictures from all three shows.
I was already watching Bleach and Naruto.
Put off watching OP for the longest time. But eventually started watching it aaand that's the magical story of how I found One Piece.

I discovered my anime back in 6th grade when it was 2006. Eureka Seven!
I was passing by Fry's Electronics and I noticed and interesting DVD cover which happened to catch my eyes attention. I decide to grab it. I looks around for more but wasn't able to find any other of the disk so I left it. I later went home and bought the complete box online. From then on after watching the beautiful anime, it became my favorite.

I found Higurashi from a video that said "Top Traumatic Expierences of Anime (2/2)" or something.

I had a dream about Clannad before even watching it, and proceeded to watch the entire series in one day the day after my dream. I'm watching Clannad: AS on DVD right now and my tear are blurring up my keyboard. This is the ending of Yukine's arc.

Shakugan no Shana, well I started on season three because of an AMV I found of it.

Bakemonogatari from rec.
Dont touch me I'm in despair.

My friend let me borrow the DVD for most of the anime like Gintama, Rurouni Kenshin, Bleach, D.Gray-man, and Death Note.
I then found out the greatness of Gintama and D.Gray-man ^^

CardCaptor Sakura - I watched the dub back in middle school. I liked it, but was annoyed that they couldn't seem to air the episodes in proper order. Then I found out all the changes the dub made. Now I'm getting to rewatch a show that I loved with tons of new surprises.

Yu Yu Hakusho - Spending the night at a friends house, they were watching Adult Swim and this show came up. Took me weeks to remember Hiei's name, wasn't used to names like that.

Nichijou - I post on Serebii forum and this show was airing. I watched the OVA and was bored to tears. Thankfully the good folks there urged me to try the regular series. Good thing too or I would have missed out on something special.

Shinryaku! Ika Musume - See Nichijou, only with less initial rejection. Hearing it compared to classic Warner Brothers cartoons helped urge me to give it a try.

Otogi-Jushi Akazukin - I was in a kinda depressing place, looking for something that would be cute and cheerful to boost my mood. This and my favorite manga, Yotsuba&! will always be the best cures for a bad mood.

I had just finished reading Yu Yu Hakusho, and I was craving even more of its perfection. I went on the Internet looking for some art and pics from the manga and discovered that, by golly, there was a show of Yu Yu Hakusho!

It was some weird thing called "anime" (forgive me, this was from a time when I thought Yusuke's name was pronounced "yoo-soo-kay"), but I didn't care what it called itself as long as I could get more of YYH. I marathoned the entire series. Best time of my life.

Since then, I've seen much more, but my number 1 favourite has always been my first. ^^=

Natsume Yuujinchou (San)

Gee, I stumbled upon the Natsume Yuujinchou series (I think) back in 2009, when I was browsing through, if I remember correctly, Anime Season. Saw it was similar to xxxHolic and was interested, and also seeing a fat cute cat caught my eye.

Yup.

Pandora Hearts: In web i see that a lot of people love that so i decided to watch it and at the end i agree with them.

Ga Rei Zero: i was visiting a anime site and i noticed this anime, i read the plot and i decided to see that. The first two episodes didn't like me but then i loved it.

i like ga-rei zero too
so, after watch the anime i decided to read the manga
that was not a great ideia...
ga-rei zero (anime) is way better than ga-rei (manga)
imo, the manga just screwed the things up

I agree with you.
The manga of ga rei zero disappointed me, it's not too bad but i thought it was better than the anime. :(

I attended a Q & A session with Steve Blum at Anime Boston 2006. I'd only known him for a couple of roles at the time, but not his most famous one: Spike Spiegel. A week later, I bought volume one of Cowboy Bebop at a video store and the rest is history.

Summer 2010, I was at a completely nerdy and awesome computer camp over the summer. I decide to walk in on a couple of my friends to see what they were doing; they were watching this really weird show with a star-shaped giant robot and an overly innocent-looking girl. Then it turns out there were more robots, protecting the girl from some sort of scorpion robot, who got beaten by this enormous robot that looked like a battleship. I was thoroughly confused but intrigued, and so I stayed and kept watching with my friends. And watching. And watching. And then we finished the show, and a few days later I saw the early episodes I had missed.
