Wasn't it originally planned for late 2010/early 2011? lol

Only info I've been able to find is "some time this year"

It was, I suppose. It's really rather frustrating, but it's relieving to know that the dub is actually done. I highly doubt VIZ would go through all the trouble of dubbing something just to not release it.

As well, you do technically have the animax dub. I didn't personally like it because it made all the characters sound mentally challenged, but you may very well be interested in it.

Yes, I've tried that other dub too actually, but it's really terrible. I think that's the South American version. Personally, I prefer the one with Richard Ian Cox (Inuyasha) much better.
You may be right, but VIZ'd better hurry a little, it's really been too long now since they announced it was being dubbed ò_ó

I believe animax means like Hong Kong or something. Not really hip on that, I'm afraid.

As for VIZ...well, they're VIZ. I've been reading over on the [AS] forums that there is likely some kind of contract bit going on to have the rights to air it. It only seems plausible VIZ would want to exhaust all television options before releasing it. In the end, that would make them more money.

However, if negotiations break down, the people who wanted it are still going to buy it--late or not.

Yeah, the Animax dub sucks. I really hope they dub it with the original voice actors because they were really good

Update: Just found out Viz will be dubbing this with the original voice cast. It will be available this fall.
