I heard that Kuroshitsuji (Black Butler) WILL have a third season, most likely about Ciel trying to get his humanity back (or so I heard). Do you think this is actually possibble? And if so when is it going to air? 'Cause many people say there won't be any sequel to season 2, but then again, some people say there will....

What will be left to tell in season 3 I wonder, since season 2 ended that way...

I was thinking the same thing when I finished S1 and found out there is a sequel. History repeats itself, eh?

Wow, that was true. Well. maybe it would even reach season 4 as Nakamura Yuuichi wished for.

Im not bothered by the fact that kuroshitsuji aka Black Butler would have a season 3 in fact i welcome it but i think it would be more awesome if black butler is remade following the same Story as The Manga when black butler was first put into production the manga had only just finished the jack the ripper ark so the story of the anime followed a completely different path but since a lot of material has come up since that they could in fact make it i would even gladly wait a few more years until the manga is finished if hey decided to remake it. what does anybody else think about this?

I hope there's season 3, but didn't Ciel said before making season 2 "I don't feel like making a sequel"?

In all honestly, the most recent manga arcs have been very good (save for that murder mystery one) so I would rather see those then more made up material.

No, just no. Second season was horrible enough for me to not want any sequels.

The only reason I would like one more season is because I would like to see how horroble they can make it this time.
I loved season 1, but season 2 was way to much fanservice and not enough story.

I don't know if it's just rumors, but I have read this:

Having watched the anime before I read the manga, I enjoyed it quite a bit...
The manga is infinite times better though. I feel like instead of adding on to the current anime, they should do as was done with Fullmetal Alchemist and make a new series that follows the manga. I would love to see all the different arcs! The Noah's Ark Circus, the murder case, the Campania... And a badass UT? Not enough people know about how fantastic he is because they've only watched it...
That's just my input. I absolutely adored the anime so much more before I read the manga...

I would agree. Honestly i didn't enjoy this anime that much; but things just tend to get better when they are closer to manga.

That way??? But the end of Kuroshitsuji 2 has left the opportunity for a sequel. That didn't even look like the end.
As for me, I hope there will be a third season. And the end of Kuroshitsuji-3 will be not that lasting-for-eternity thing as we saw in the previous part, but the real end of the whole story.

I've heard that the third season could possibly be about Sebastian trying to turn Ciel back into a human. With the help of this other "male" demon who is partners with a different "female" demon. The stipulations for the male demon to tell Sebastian how to change Ciel back, Sebastian must kill the female demon. This is just rumors, but it sounds like a nice plot to season 3 if it happens.

I hope that it will have another season! I can't stand Sebastian letting himself bound by his contract to a demon. His intention was to take Ciel's soul, not becoming a butler for eternity!!! I can see how irritated and disappointed he was in the end of season 2.
