I'm not really sure what to call it but lets go by "captions" for now. [under username] Well I saw this feature on several other Forums and was wondering if it was even possible to implement this onto MAL? I don't really have a reason but I thought it would be pretty neat to have. (I'm sure several others have seen this before as well) xD |

| Of course it's pointless since it's nothing but extra info for shits and giggles, but it is indeed nice to have. A lot of forums make it available for a reason which is one reason why I think it should be implemented here at MAL too. |

| It seems like a couple of words above every person's name wouldn't make a difference but yes, it does. There are threads solely for moderator discussion and the stream of titles down the page does decrease readability by a bit. It's nothing disastrous but it certainly isn't as clean as a normal thread would look. Fears of abuse are not unfounded as well. There are some people who have impersonated forum moderators in the past by taking creative liberties with their avatars. That's why General Rule #5 exists. |
