Oh man, really? Well I guess it has had a pretty long run. I don't disagree that they probably should've stopped it after Aizen was arrested, but still... Hope they at least do some OVAs of the currently ongoing final arc. Or they could just start a new separate series, like they did with Naruto.

I have a dream that one day, all of the big three will end within my lifetime. Important to note that there is the possibility of continuation, that the series has basically caught up to the manga, so they may still continue the series again at some point, which I hope not to see.

Wait... WHAT?

But I prefer that, and new series after some time, than a looong period of endless, shitty fillers.

Also, I'm curious, which anime will replace Bleach in their timeslot.

Kinda funny Bleach is being replaced by a Naruto spin off after all these years.

Was to be expected, they're already closing in on the manga which would result in another filler arc that people don't want anyway. It'll probably come back once the manga completes.

Theres a chance it never comes back for the final arc. Its TV ratings have been pitiful the last 2 years (like doing worse than a bunch of late night anime)... this could just be putting it out of its misery now.

just hoping they finish off this final arc which is possible. Hoping for either a comeback or OVAs. I wonder what anime could take over?

..............WHAT??!

It better return as a new series or OVA (with 40-50min episodes) with better animation for the final arc. I want to see it end properly after all these years.

Holy shit, didn't expect that. But after thinking about it, it makes sense....no wait ti doesn't. That's only like 4 more weeks, so they'll stop in the middle of FB arc?

I could understand if they finished FB arc and then went on hiatus, wait for the manga to finish it's final arc (and therefore not having to show fillers) and then continue. But like this, it's kinda weird.

So, I finally decided to drop the anime three or four weeks ago. Guess now I'll finish it after all. Only roughly a dozen more eps and then I can actually put it under "completed". Damn, that will feel good.

Well its 19 chapters in 5 episodes. Unless they skip a lot of stuff and rush it big time, I don't see them finishing the arc.

And the anime taking over is the Rock Lee gag anime.

Too bad the manga won't be ending anytime soon. "Final arc" by Kubo standards does mean 7+ years....

It would be great if following movies adapted final arc.

And now that I think about it, next movie has yet to be announced...

This is actually a blessing in disguise. If they continue it like normal, there will likely be several filler arcs before the series ends. But if they end it in March after Xcution is defeated, then they can continue it after the manga ends without having to make filler.

No loss. Let's hope Naruto will end very soon too. The quality of both series are horrible.

It's the loss of Bleach and the gain of a super deformed Rock Lee anime.

Exactly. Considering the promised scope of the final arc, it makes sense for it to have the animation budgets OVAs do.

It makes a perfect sense and we will get to see all the end battles in better quality animation

Its not naruto(thankfully). There has always been a planned ending and we have been known for a two years already that after FB arc there will be one arc left and manga currently is starting to enter that.
