I'm glad that my high expectations were met. I rarely cry while watching anime, but this one made it happen. That first and last hug was done so well, it really was the epitome of bittersweet.

I liked the "Natume Yuujinchou"ish feeling and the setup was pretty good as well. Bu I think the ending was a bit weak and the music felt out ouf place in some scenes. Still, I can say that I enjoyed it.

I thought ending will be sad, but it still moved me to tears. Beautiful story, music and animation.

This is a pretty good show to short though,but still enjoyed it. 9/10

It was amazing thorughout, and the ending and the overall feeling was very bittersweet, yet it was warm and naive enough to avoid being crushingly depressing. And the mask kiss was one of the best romantic scenes I've seen in anime. Top3 anime of 2011 to me easily.

If you look closely the guy who looks like natsume is a girl, notice the green skirt.

Stumbled over it and decided to give it a try. Very, very good decision; really enjoyed that beautiful but short movie.

ANBU has created a new Pedo squad.

Seriously this has been a great and touching story with nice soundtrack and animation.

The Romance between Hotaru and Gin was displayed on a very nice way.

Season by season, Year by Year and it ended with the most clumsiest moment.

I might have gone 2 soft lately by giving a lot of works high scores.

Maybe I've just picked up the right ones to check out.

The quality most probably have improved a lot with influences from over the world now with information and technology next to the internet.

So touching T_T I didn't cry since I already read the manga where I cried my eyes off, but still very beautiful story ♥ Finally I got to see it ^^

Beautiful story but somewhat dull. Despite that i did enjoy it and was moved at ending.

Didn't cry but stomach is turning, in a good way.

I knew that he will disappear but I wanted to disappear with a kiss at least no touch a child but still great movie.

Absolutely beautiful. I love it as much as I love 5 cm per second.

P.S. Gin was so kakkoii! x)

This would've been much better if it were a full-length movie. Definitely too short.

I just found the transition to be too awkward to actually find it sad.

As a Natsume fan, I loved this. Everything was done very well and the music seemed especially spectacular this time.

It was almost refreshing having Gin suddenly disappear like that and how Hotaru went from bliss because she gets to hug him and then sad the next moment because he's no longer there.

If anything could be changed, then some extra padding would be nice, maybe a few minutes to wrap up the ending and see what Hotaru does.

ARRRHHHGGGG!!! I told myself I wasn't going to cry!!! I was even mentally prepared for it and I knew it was going to happen, but as soon as those kids came running I was going to see that scene...and so I burst into tears......

I've grown weak OTL but then again I'm weak to all of Yuki Midorikawa's works

really nice relaxing short film liked the relationship between the two of them (felt very pure),but it's sad that he ended up disappearing even though i felt it would happened just how it did felt a bit sudden and unexpected to much for it to effect me fully as others had said if it was a bit longer and he ended up touching while protecting her for whatever reason would had been better imo.

still glad they got to touch in the last moments though

Natsume with romance. It was great too.
