| 5/5 How beautiful is the episode, manages to keep in touch with reality but not clip the wings in the dream and excite you. The plot does not deviate from normal but the unexpected with Arata makes the story enjoyable! Yay! The same happens to the narrative that conveys well this distortion of the tournament by both Taichi Chihaya. Now I understand the strange behavior of Arata in relating Chihaya, how cute! ^ _ ^ Taichi learns from him! ASD Drawings and environments more beautiful and with a pleasant air. Chihaya always hilarious! Anime series keeps getting better! * _ * |

| Wow another tournament Taichi loses. The loses and frustration are seriously hurting his confidence right now. However, Arata's return to karuta could spark motivation for Taichi to do better. |

| My respect to Taichi increases every episode, it is so sad that he still can't admit his feelings towards Chihaya. Also Arata sentence about expecting him to be in A level is really mean, although I know he doesn't mean it badly. |

| Of course that shit with Arata asking if Taichi can give Chihaya the note with his cell phone number on it just had to happen in the middle of a freaking tournament -_- I know that this is a love triangle anime and that Taichi is the cursed childhood friend but is it really that hard to give the guy a break once in a while? Yikes. |

| I enjoyed this episode, it really feels like being back to the (somewhat superior) begin of the show. That said, I'm a bit confused about the comments here. Somehow most people seem to completely have missed what Chihaya said in the end? "It seems to be a love story, but is actually about a lost childhood friend; It fits Arata perfectly." So while everyone here is talking about "poor Taichi, poor Taichi" and calling it for Arata, Chihaya just basically indicated that she sees Arata as a friend and doesn't consider her feelings any way romantic. (also I find it quite clear from Chihaya's personality that she simply doesn't think about romance at all. All she cares about is Karuta and friendship, so of course she admires Arata as he is both a great Karuta player and her friend.) That aside, I simply enjoy watching the characters, the team, the karuta, ... I hope the people getting so worked up about the romance still find some time to enjoy the rest of the show. |

| This was a nice one. So Arata is back in the game but he is still talking to Chihaya through Taichi. Poor guy... I was happy to see Taichi turning down Harada's offer and telling him he wants to become someone who does not run away when things get complicated. He is such a good guy. Well exams are around the corner now and after that we will be heading towards the qualifier! Can't wait for the next episode! |

| Arata finally appeared, but he must rebuild his old magnificent form. Cool. You can feel that his long break from karuta was not a joke and his skills really went down a bit, although not that much. It's realistic and is one of the reasons I tip my hat to this anime. |

| Mashiba is an S tier character. Seriously , that much development in just 20 episodes. He is so realistic and relatable. Feeling inferior to Arata in both karuta talent and relationships with Chihaya , yet pushing forward , being so loyal to his friends and inspiring others. Just remember that he started as someone who bullied Arata just to have a respect of his classmates and stole Arata's glasses to win the tournament. Wow. |

LOL yeah, I thought for once she was cheering for Taichi instead of chanting Arata's name all the time, but the moment she heard he was there, she instantly abandoned Taichi and ran to him. Hell, even her fixation with the "Queen" turned out to be another form of Arata worship. Turns out she kind of reminds her of him. Arata thinking and accepting Chihaya and Taichi may have started dating was pretty surprising. So there might not even be much of a love triangle going on to begin with. He probably values their friendship above anything else. |
| Dammit Chihaya don't skip study sessions, well at least Desktomu the tutor taught her you first have to do the things you don't want to before doing the things you truly want to do. I'm glad Taichi didn't take the 'easy' route at the end of becoming a class A player. |

| I love this show so much, as far as love interests go, chihaya seams to only love karuta. I know it looks like she is in love with arata but I think she loves arata the karuta player. I don’t think at this point in her life she’s even considered romance. I could be very wrong but I’m going to keep watching. This has quickly become one of my favorite shows of all time. |

| Arata's going to be a demigod once he shakes that rust off. Our man's officially back. Say what you will about Taichi but his resilience is undeniable. Chihaya barely noticing him and Class A always being seemingly out of reach is obviously taking their toll on him and yet the guy just won't give up. |
| It took 19 episodes to build up Chihaya, Taichi and Arata characters and when they finally met there's so much emotion I felt. It felt earned and that the author took it's time to come to this satisfying reunion. |
