| A toss between One Piece and early Naruto. I swear Naruto's author never ever heard of shading. I'm fine with Bleach though; backgrounds are usually just optional decoration for me anyway, plus it's easy on the eyes to read. |
| People tend to say that Gintama is poorly drawn, but I think it's got a particular charm to it. I mean, messy drawings, small panels, no screentones... it's kind of nice. And the quality of the plot and jokes definitely makes up for anything bad. I'd say Bleach. I mean, it's mostly just action, no backgrounds, nothing, you have to really be into the story to see what's going on sometimes. I kind of gave up on it. |

| I would have to say Bleach is one of the worst drawn series I have read. Most of the scenes in the manga are so simplistic, and the battles are basically just shots of Ichigo or whoever drawn using a page-absorbing Getsuga Tenshou or whatever. I'd also say that the manga of Trinity Blood is extremely hard to follow. It's a case of having way to much on the page at a time. And whoever is saying One Piece's art is bad must be crazy. I can see not liking the style or Oda's drawing, but it is far from being badly drawn. |

| I would say Houkago Play, though it's a 4-koma so the art probably isn't the top priority for that one. There's also alot of one volume stuff I've read where the art made me seriously consider dropping it. |

| TO BE HONEST daily lives of high school boys even though it's one of my favorite anime, i will definitely admit that the manga illustration reached totally unknown levels of godawful (or maybe i'm just so used to the very detailed and generally better styles of a lot of shoujo manga) but whatever i mean look at these wow i just really had to stop reading the manga all together also nodame cantabile (but its comedy compensates for it anyway) |

Actually, the napkin period (I was shocked by how bad it was (I only recently read it)) has long ended. Now, whether the style has improved since the first chapters - I'd say yes, but that might be just my brain adjusting. Also, Yu Yu Hakusho was a level above HxH in terms of art (overall), and Level E looks pretty damn good. So he has actually deteriorated after improving. I'm assuming he didn't simply forget how to draw, so I wouldn't be surprised if it was due to whatever ails the man. |

The sketchy style is not ugly, you just have to like it. Personally I think the artist put in quite some work in that. Anyway, I liked that style. And I don't remember who said he liked to see art progress during a manga, but check out Slam Dunk. It went from quite bad to flat-out amazing! |

| Well, at least that's an improvement. Wouldn't want to have artwork like this on my bookshelf, even though I enjoy Hunter x Hunter. I recognized the scene, because as you said, it was from the old version. But yeah, I heard he had taken multiple hiatuses, but damn, never expected the art to suffer like that! |

Most shoujo art disgusts me if it's too overly cute. hence i don't usually read much of the genre. The worst i can remember is from some manga who's name escapes me about some girl and her childhood boyfriend jumping off a building, being separated, and reuniting after so and so years when she has another boyfriend whom she sleeps with. Ugh, that art. UGH. I dropped it just because of the art. |
