Basara. Story is really good, but it took me a few chapter before I could get used to the drawings. |

Magic Kaito is pretty horrible lol I used to dislike the art in Detective Conan, but then it grew on me and now I really like it. Modified by starmint, 03-31-12, 6:54 PM |

Shin Chan - comically bad. :D smackdown said: Battle Royale 2 I remember thinking that was a joke, especially when you compare it to the first! :o GuZ said: Out of the manga that I haven't dropped right away then Angel Densetsu takes the prize. Try and keep it up, the story is great. ;) Art, not so much - the only reason I didn't highlight it was because Shin Chan is worst. |

I have to go with the others and say Bleach. Most of the action scenes are so badly drawn that you can't even make out what's happening. It's like Kubo just splattered some ink on the panels and tried to draw from that. Also lack of background and details. |

well, I actually really disliked Battle royale (the first manga). It wasn't bad drawn, but it was just too much for me. I mean the faces, not guro. Or Sanctuary. The faces.... but I wouldn't say it was the worst. Basara was also bad drawn thinking about the awesomeness of the manga. It deserved better. in the first few volumes, I didn't know what was going on because of the art. but the worst worst: maybe W-Juliet and all from that mangaka (bad anatomy) first volumes of Hana yori dango (but it got way better later) river's edge (well, it was josei and the art wasn't that important but it could be better) bring it on older works from Yuki Kaori (I've read almost everything from her and the older ones were confusing because of the art) kill me kiss me kodomo no omocha tokyo crazy paradise angel wars kiss in the blue shinshi doumei cross (too fluffy) 38°C Battle royale (I just have to include this one) love roma my name is zushio national quiz HEN IO oh, that's too much, isn't it? http://dunderheads.weebly.com/ ever had this urge to stalk a person on MAL and read/watch everything they read/watched? I had. |

I really don't care about bad artist, they just lack skill. What pisses me off technically good artists who are just lazy fucks. Like the Mangaka of perfect girl revolution sure she can draw pretty well, but fuck if you can tell, there are maybe 1 or 2 pages a chapter where she actually shows off her drawing ability. The rest of the chapters are just very simplistic chibis wandering around white back grounds at the same flat angle. It doesn't think, it doesn't feel, it doesn't laugh or cry..... All it does from dusk till dawn is make the soldiers die. |

Bleach has bad art? You guys are nuts. One Piece, Hot Gimmick, and Battle Royale have some of the ugliest art styles I've ever seen. Most shoujo manga are drawn pretty badly, too. |

I actually really like it when I read a manga that starts off with bad art which improves consistently as the artist gets better at drawing. ![]() |

Bleach was my favorite manga at some point. Now it has been unreadable for last 6 years. The art is worst one I've ever seen, but the art is still fucking best thing in that manga. Keep reading if you want to know how much of a fail one series can be. |

I don't much care about art as i finished manga with bad art but recently i started Shingeki no Kyojin (read first volume) and because of it's popularity and cover, i was expecting some awesome art but it turn out really disappointing. that guy doesn't even know how to draw bodies at different angles. |

Karhu said: That's something I'd expect to hear from someone who hates Bleach as much as you. Loathing the series justifies hating the author, or the characters, but offending the art just because "Bleach fucking sucks" or "Kubo is a troll who can't draw buildings"? That's pretty immature.RenaPsychoKiller said: Bleach has bad art? You guys are nuts. >Volumes read 2 That's what I would say as well if I didn't know any better. Moreover, even though I've only read two volumes of the manga, I've seen a ton of art by Tite Kubo, from artbooks to random scans of the latest chapters. Therefore, sorry, but you have no idea of what you are talking about. It might be unbelievable for you, but I truly like Kubo's art, and, as the user above stated, his art has become better and better. Keep hating Bleach, I honestly don't care, as long as you respect my opinion and don't throw your hate at me. Thank you. |

The original Dragon Ball. I remember when manga was first really coming to the US and when I saw dragon ball volume 1 sitting on the shelf of a bookstore I had to have it. <img src="http://fc06.deviantart.net/fs21/f/2007/262/c/6/Dragon_Ball_Signature_by_SaraDarkLight.jpg" /> |

RenaPsychoKiller said: I'm with Karhu on this one (just saying). The picture posted a few posts above looks more like a sketch to me... And I think it's more or less accepted as a fact that over the years all of Kubo's character's faces started to look the same. Read Negative Happy Chainsaw Edge yesterday. It isn't particularly ugly or anything (stupid "funny" rapefaces aside) but the guy who did the artwork for that has NO idea how to draw people from different angles or perspectives. The characters sometimes look RIDICULOUSLY off model. Posted some examples in the chapter three discussion of that series, so just head over there if you wanna see some. |
