As much as loved Onani Master Kurosawa, I couldn't shake the fact that it was done so lazily.

Hunter X Hunter. Not at first, but as it went on, it started to look like it was drawn on a napkin using a sharpie or something. And yeah, he tries to clean it up for the manga volumes, but it's still not exactly "good". I think it's because he doesn't have any assistants or something, and it certainly shows. Which is a shame because the story is still pretty neat.

Onani Master has pretty good art actually.

Bleach is probably the worst one.

I'll say D.Gray-man has some wtf fights sometimes. Can't tell what the hell is going on because it's drawn so awkward.

Eiken. Law of Ueki manga art was bad and hell the anime art is many times better.

I think the enviornments could definitely use some more detail, but Kubo's drawing skills have gotten much better over the years.

Millennium Snow (by the same author as Ouran High School Host Club). It was the first manga I ever picked up, so I didn't know what to look for. The art isn't AWFUL, but I can't give much more of an opinion since I have a really poor repertoire of manga.

I dont want to put it down because it was such a great manga but i would have to say elfin lied
the drawings honesly looked like something a 12 year old could do and were too childish looking fr its genre lol but still the fact that it is an amazing manga with crappy art makes it that much more amazing

There are a number of them out there, manga with inconsistent drawing.
I remember Tokimeki Tonight's drawing change goddamn much between arcs.

I wouldn't say that Natsume Yuujinchou's drawing considered good, but then the manga's still my best favorite.

Probably FLCL, although it's not particularly 'badly' drawn, I think I was just disappointed by how plain and boring it was in comparison to the anime.

speaking of Battle Royale, I thought the first one's character designs were some of the worst and most ugly I've ever seen. And in case anyone wants to say stuff like "you only like the standard anime huge eyes and shit and can't appreciate a more realistic look": it was not realistic in the slightest. It was just ugly.

Basara.

Story is really good, but it took me a few chapter before I could get used to the drawings.

Art, not so much - the only reason I didn't highlight it was because Shin Chan is worst.

I have to go with the others and say Bleach. Most of the action scenes are so badly drawn that you can't even make out what's happening. It's like Kubo just splattered some ink on the panels and tried to draw from that. Also lack of background and details.

well, I actually really disliked Battle royale (the first manga). It wasn't bad drawn, but it was just too much for me. I mean the faces, not guro. Or Sanctuary. The faces.... but I wouldn't say it was the worst. Basara was also bad drawn thinking about the awesomeness of the manga. It deserved better. in the first few volumes, I didn't know what was going on because of the art.

but the worst worst:
maybe W-Juliet and all from that mangaka (bad anatomy)
first volumes of Hana yori dango (but it got way better later)
river's edge (well, it was josei and the art wasn't that important but it could be better)
bring it on
older works from Yuki Kaori (I've read almost everything from her and the older ones were confusing because of the art)
kill me kiss me
kodomo no omocha
tokyo crazy paradise
angel wars
kiss in the blue
shinshi doumei cross (too fluffy)
38°C
Battle royale (I just have to include this one)
love roma
my name is zushio
national quiz
HEN
IO

oh, that's too much, isn't it?

I really don't care about bad artist, they just lack skill.

What pisses me off technically good artists who are just lazy fucks.

Like the Mangaka of perfect girl revolution sure she can draw pretty well, but fuck if you can tell, there are maybe 1 or 2 pages a chapter where she actually shows off her drawing ability.

The rest of the chapters are just very simplistic chibis wandering around white back grounds at the same flat angle.
It doesn't think, it doesn't feel, it doesn't laugh or cry..... All it does from dusk till dawn is make the soldiers die.

Bleach has bad art? You guys are nuts.

One Piece, Hot Gimmick, and Battle Royale have some of the ugliest art styles I've ever seen. Most shoujo manga are drawn pretty badly, too.

I agree with this. I actually really like it when I read a manga that starts off with bad art which improves consistently as the artist gets better at drawing.

That's what I would say as well if I didn't know any better. Sorry but you have no idea what you are talking about. Bleach was my favorite manga at some point. Now it has been unreadable for last 6 years. The art is worst one I've ever seen, but the art is still fucking best thing in that manga. Keep reading if you want to know how much of a fail one series can be.

It's probably the art style you don't like.

Um... Naruto has poor artwork.

I don't much care about art as i finished manga with bad art but recently i started Shingeki no Kyojin (read first volume) and because of it's popularity and cover, i was expecting some awesome art but it turn out really disappointing. that guy doesn't even know how to draw bodies at different angles.

That's something I'd expect to hear from someone who hates Bleach as much as you. Loathing the series justifies hating the author, or the characters, but offending the art just because "Bleach fucking sucks" or "Kubo is a troll who can't draw buildings"? That's pretty immature.
Moreover, even though I've only read two volumes of the manga, I've seen a ton of art by Tite Kubo, from artbooks to random scans of the latest chapters. Therefore, sorry, but you have no idea of what you are talking about.
It might be unbelievable for you, but I truly like Kubo's art, and, as the user above stated, his art has become better and better. Keep hating Bleach, I honestly don't care, as long as you respect my opinion and don't throw your hate at me. Thank you.

And I think it's more or less accepted as a fact that over the years all of Kubo's character's faces started to look the same.

Read Negative Happy Chainsaw Edge yesterday. It isn't particularly ugly or anything (stupid "funny" rapefaces aside) but the guy who did the artwork for that has NO idea how to draw people from different angles or perspectives. The characters sometimes look RIDICULOUSLY off model. Posted some examples in the chapter three discussion of that series, so just head over there if you wanna see some.

I agree. As much as I love that manga, I wish she would stop drawing Sunako in a chibi form. It's gotten better though.

How? I checked it out and they have noses most of time. Sure there's time when noses are there but that's artistic expression.

From the front, their noses look fine.

But from the side.....it looks like their noses have been squished.

This is a perfect example of a mangaka refining his skills and just getting better as time goes by. Okubo improved ALOT over the years. (although personally I found the kinda messy artstyle of the early volumes pretty interesting ^^)

if it's based on those scenes, then that's silly. For Bleach, Hueco Mundo setting/environment is that of non-existence, which has been designed to look plain/empty. What you have shown is a perfect example of that.

Although I'm not a fan of either, you just picked a bad example to show how bad bleach is.

Doesn't the author have a wrist injury? And some other injuries? I really liked her drawings though...

I have to say, her drawings do tend to change a lot too... And she uses different assistants every time, apparently.

I say most shoujos are really awkwardly drawn. Fruits Basket and Skip Beat... So awkward...
